Does Argo have to pay this?

With the gold miners the all in costs (which include depreciation) can be around $1000 to $1600 while the gold price is 2950+.

The bitcoin miners are not even breakeven, and rely on hodl to report any profit. Yet they still reward themselves handsomely with crazy bonuses. Plus gold has no competitor in their pit and no halving.

But fundamentals are only one part of this game and hopefully bitcoin goes for another ath and gives us a chance to get out of bitcoin miners on a high.

My main holdings are bitcoin miners so I know a lot about the sector, and I'm confident that QBT is a scam. There's good reason for the price over there to drop. You'll know it's all over when they start talking about Method D.

It's not without risk and I'm not recommending anyone follow me into it - I'm as wrong as often as I am right and my timing is often terrible. I still have a decent GST holding anyway so if it runs while that portion is awol that's fine. Clearly we're due news here and it will come.

Thanks guys - Once GST gets this integration complete then things change for the better - and this could happen any time from today. They stated end of Q1 so it could be in the next two weeks (if no delays). Trump's tariff bingo game has killed sentiment in the markets, but all things come to pass, and things should get moving again at some point. I'll let you know when I've bought back in.

Sorry guys that was me - hoping for a short term jump on GRL with gold at ATH. If it plays out I'll buy these back plus more.

A sell doesn't always mean bad things, it can just be short term opportunities elsewhere. I think GST will do very well, but we are really waiting on the next news release to see any big moves (which will probably happen Monday now I've made this move!).

It would be ironic to see traditional gold miners out perform bitcoin miners, but the fundamentals don't lie.

Corrumpo, if we're talking actuals, then we've seen actuals. Mining twice as much gold as they averaged monthly last year, with the price of gold increasing in the background - so the share price should be moving to 2p?

Are they delayed in hitting their 1000oz Jan target? Yes.

Are they making steady progress towards it? Seems so based on last month.

Gold has broken out to a new ATH. Inching towards the magical 3000.

According to their news they averaged 225 oz per month in 2024, with 380oz dore in Nov, 416oz dore in Dec, and 522 gold in Jan (the change of units from dore to gold is strange but maybe it's a new thing for 2025?).

This represents progression - and I for one am waiting to see what the imminent monthly release says - also it seems the 1000oz is dore and not gold, so I take that to be 850ish Gold.

Feb is a 28 day month as well, so anything over 500 and they are doing well. Anything less we'll see what they have to say.

Yes that's all baked into the price - the current price is no doubt due to the recent large selling and the market wanting to see consistency, but these recently sold shares are being digested. I agree it would be good if they were consistent with the monthly metrics. Hopefully we get the next update very soon and they continue the trajectory.
