For me anything over 2800 subscribers is a major win, breaks us even and leaves the Croda deal to be accumulating profit. I love a lean business and SA runs things beautifully in that respect, it reduces risk so much. I’m not into the thinking that everything the company does will romp into an immediate great success but out of several potential gems, we only need one to be very successful to send the SP over a pound. It may happen this year or it may take 3 but I can’t think I’d want my money anywhere else at the moment.

There really isn’t much to be disruptive about here. For those not in a rush, everything has been addressed. Yes it would be great to know more about the Croda deal but we know the scale up is going to plan and Croda are investigating additional claims. Yes it would be great to know the sales figures for Axis but our nomad is not allowing it yet and we are a company run to the letter. Those that need the share price to be back in the 70’s tomorrow are going to be frustrated tomorrow. For those that are patient enough to roll with the punches in a med-tech, AIM Listed, pre-revenue, everything is looking just fine. (I know that the company is no longer pre revenue but it serves to point out what most have actually invested in here, and can’t expect Tesco like stability). When our team are ready they’ll come out fighting again with update RNS’s and the share price will reflect their actions when they do, and not before.

Merry Christmas to you too Belgrano, and to every other investor here. I don’t always agree with people’s opinions but I think we all have a common goal of wanting the company to do well. I’m not one for predictions but if the SP isn’t higher than it is now by this time next year I’ll eat my hat for Christmas lunch instead of turkey! See you all next year.

I’m dying to know too Ody I really am. I think it’s just that the NOMAD wouldn’t allow us to release data at this stage. SA explains the reasons in the interview with Elric, the one where SA is clearly very wound up by the share price drop. My position now is just to broadly leave it alone and see where we are in 6 months when we have been given some sales data and heard about the Croda stuff and whatever Geoff Bell is working on.

Ody, you’ve criticised people, it is up to them if they receive it as an insult or not, you have a right to your opinion. What I’d like to say is that I staunchly defend Stuart’s use of Elric/Proactive/TW as a means of communicating with smaller investors, and that includes the Manchester meet. You see it as not professional but I see it as the total opposite. For a PLC that takes the regular mans money to take the time to communicate with the regular man is incredibly transparent and therefore out-of-his-way professional. I went to that meet, Stuart never said anything he shouldn’t, but he was able to go into the kind of detail that isn’t achievable via an RNS. The kind of detail that the fund managers will be able to get when they phone Stuart because they own 5% or more of his company. For our top team to level the playing field like that is incredibly professional. You have made a few comments recently I believe about releasing sales data, which ironically would be a highly unprofessional thing to do at this stage, no matter if the results are amazing or appalling.

My opinion is that the next RNS on Croda will just talk about scale up only, rather than the VIP clients. I’d imagine there will be NDA’s in place to prevent that information being released. Am I right in thinking we have already been told we are on for revenue in 2022? I’d have a wager on us having to find out for ourselves what products the lysate is in, much the same way the guys on the Itaconix board do. The detectives on there find that their company’s IP is used in all sorts of places after it’s already happened!

Belgrano, the only thing I needed to hear in that interview was the way SA laughed out loud when Elric said something about investors speculating that the launch wasn’t going as well as was hoped for. It wasn’t a laugh because he found anything funny, I believe it was his way of saying everything without saying anything. Because as we should all know by now, he is not allowed to release sales data.

Brilliant to hear the spirit and even anger is Stuart’s voice whilst talking about the share price today. For me, I think it’s a case of leave him to it and check back in on the share price around Christmas.

I can confirm the advert was there when Belgrano posted the link, and it seems to be there now for me. Although I also had one the other day where someone posted a link and the ad’s seemed to be cycling, as the axis ad didn’t come up until the third attempt.

It’s funny how as a combined group on this BB we know so much about the company that we are discussing the intricacies of how one small ad set is actually working. Most AIM BB’s are full of people wanting to know key information but not getting it!

Totally agree Phat. The share price is absolutely bound to be depressed down to the price of the big sales. Some good news will see this rerate to where it stood before and possibly more depending on the news and any subsequent tit bits we get.

The thing I love about SBTX is the transparency of the board. Some may not understand the reasoning of using channels such as Elric, Proactive etc as well as the official announcements but it really does help to get a good feel of what’s going on and why if you read between the lines. I’ve never been this comfortable with a 20% SP drop before and will happily wait until it makes its way back up and more.

I’m another PI that hasn’t been able to resist a top up today @ 56.8p. I know the company well now and I’m satisfied that this bit of volatility has allowed me to increase my holding. I feel somewhat in the dark about the Croda element currently as I think most active LTH’s such as myself were expecting some news on that at the end of October. That could possibly have been delayed as a pick me up following the looming OPTI share sale; we know Stuart and Doug are clever like that and as they have some skin in the game they will want the company to be at a good price. Unlike some I’m confident the launch is going as well as could realistically be expected and Croda haven’t invested the 5m for nothing and 20,000 cubic litres is many many ‘sprinkles’ so I’m happy the royalties will be starting fairly soon. I’m also excited to hear about what our new Commercial manager has been working on this past couple of months.

beinthelead, It was discussed at the shareholder meeting, that there was to be a meeting near the end of last month where Croda updated the Skinbio board on their progress. It wasn’t revealed exactly what would be spoken about, nor if we should expect an RNS. That’s all I know. I can take a guess that they would have discussed the progress on the production line Croda are investing in and maybe possible take up from customers. But I imagine this information would be price sensitive and would prompt an RNS, unless an NDA is in place.

Unfortunately Stuart didn’t say subscriptions were growing at an alarming rate, just registrations of interest. However I’m sure there must be some correlation between number of those interested and those that have subscribed so the more interested the better!

So launch is later this week. Has anyone that registered their interest had an offer to sign up? I’d love to buy the product to see if it aids my skin issues but I haven’t heard anything. I’ll jump for joy if I don’t hear, because that means demand is outstripping supply, but I’m curious about any communications…

I agree, but now we know the possible plan I think a buyer swooping for OPTI could cause SBTX sp to jump and that could cancel out the savings they make by not coming direct so is a risk for them to consider.

Thanks Bel I see what you are saying. For every share someone has in OPTI they effectively get their 20% kickback from 2 SBTX shares. Seems too good to be true for OPTI holders! As I’m purely in Skins i obviously hope OPTI hang on to their shares for the long term, at least until we realise the true value. I know you were just giving an example, but I think a buyer would have to swoop fast to be able to do a deal at a quid!

Bel, could you elaborate on saying OPTI own 21% of SBTX but own half the shares in issue? Is this to do with the class of shares or something?

I keep finding that working out the numbers makes me feel like an overly optimistic bull no matter how pessimistic I set out to be. If we are lucky enough for SBTX to have gained 50k subscribers by this time next year, using a P/E of 10x and allowing for absolutely no value from Croda or any of the developmental products or other pillars we would still have a share price more than twice what it is now. I couldn’t be more at ease with my investment at this time.

We were told at the investors meet that marketing did not start too early because Americans do not have the patience to wait for a launch date. So now there is a date in the diary for launch marketing will ramp up slightly. Stuart is doing a 30 minute podcast for the benefit of the American market next week featuring dr cath.

Stuart said at the meeting the break even point for the company was 2800 subscribers to Axisbiotix.
