After falling more than 20% over the past few days i am praying for a big bounce back tomorrow on the basis of some great results.

With the airports getting back to normal after the Crowdstrike debacle, and the summer holiday season about to really kick off lets hope for some positive news and a positive reaction in the share price eh :)

An awful awful day for EasyJet shareholders such as myself.

A few weeks back i was almost at break even at £5.78 but I thought no, I've had these shares for years now and the tide has turned so I'll hang on to them.

Turn the clock forward to today and I'm 27% down, requiring a 54% upswing just to break even.

I've well and truly learned my lesson with Airline stocks and will never buy them again - I just have to hope and pray that EasyJet recovers eventually to make any loss manageable.

A 7% drop based on another airlines results - this market is bizarre

To be honest Greylady i used to share your optimism, but despite fantastic results recently and a great forward outlook they just nosedive regardless. And now with this new bond issue diluting the shares even further I dont believe i will ever break even let alone make a profit :(

Tui shares falling off a cliff now - another 1% drop in the last 2 minutes

Another 3.5% loss this morning. The talk is that the drop has been caused by the worldwide Microsoft/Crowdstrike issue, but our shares have dropped way more than EasyJet or IAG so i assume its a double whammy with the bond issue.

It was the worst buying decision i ever made buying Tui shares when i did a few years ago, they have been a constant headache ever since.

Hi all, does anyone know why Tui's share price fell over 5.5% today at all please?

Other airlines such as IAG had a small uptick in price yet I can find no reason online for Tui's drop today?

I cant remember who the Capital analyst involved is but I just saw on Bloomberg TV that Legal and General had a big downgrade this morning from them.

Bloomberg said as a result the share price is already down over 1.5% this morning

Yes and now Morgan Stanley have downgraded BP to equal weight from overweight and reduced its price target to £5.40 from £6.50.

An expansion to an office in South Korea close to one of it's partners is very encouraging.

Obviously any profit from this will take a while to seep through, but for me its a sign that they are trying to grow which can only be good news long term for the share price :)

There wont be any dividend i'm afraid until all loans received during the covid crisis are paid off.

TUI agreed on 3 stabilisation packages with the federal German government, one of which was reducing the (undrawn) credit line from KfW to€ 1.05 bn, extending it to July 2026. A condition of this stabilisation package was a dividend holiday until that extension has passed.

The results could be stellar and smashing all expectations yet a few days later the share price will no doubt fall back again as it always seems to do because a bird pooped on a captains hat or something.....

I think you may find that your shares (similar to mine with t212) were moved from the LSE to the XETRA Exchange at the price of 0 per share, and you received the shares again at the price of 0 after the delisting.

You are therefore seeing Tui shares valued in GBP as the main currency of your account. If you open the stock itself it is still traded in EUR.

If I had a pound for every time I've read on here 'this will shoot up soon past £2' then i wouldn't need to invest in the stock market at all.

I've owned this stock for over 3 years but despite brilliant results these past few months it has never looked like it will get close to the £2 mark, let alone pass it.

The problem now is unless the next set of results surpass the previous ones then only downwards pressure will probably apply to the share price afterwards.

Yes am just back from work to see a 5 and a half percent drop today - what on earth caused that as the others airlines didnt go down as much as that today?

I see Tui is down 2.5% odd today - seems to be a sentiment thing maybe as IAG and Easyjet are both under similar pressure today

I am with trading 212 and my shares were not sold - they were simply moved to the XETRA Exchange at the price of 0 per share.

It doesn't show a profit or loss on my moved Tui shares as I received the shares again at the price of 0 after the delisting.

So in other words i now hold my number of shares in Tui on the XETRA exchange at whatever the share price is until i decide to buy more or sell them.

Was this similar to other people's experiences with other brokers?

Kudos, but someone has just sold a combined 132000 shares as well - i wonder why there is such a variation on people's opinion of this share?
