Well unfortunately we are not off to a good start this week with the share price down by 1.5% so far today
I think we all need to close our eyes and do other trades until mid June when we should know a lot more about what will happen to our shares come delisting time
I'm chuffed as I'm up over 70% on this share now. In 2 minds as to whether to take my profit and run though as the share price seems on a roll at the moment.
I wonder if an announcement of a small dividend is on the cards. In order to pay a dividend though there will have to be a 50% matching contribution to NAPS if any dividend is paid in 2024, so maybe not.....
Nice explanation Mike
This is also a handy link written yesterday on Shares magazine showing our options come delisting date

Hi Deatr28
It depends on your broker really and their processes so I woul talk to them direct for advice.
Mine are not making any decision as to what to do with my shares until June 21st and they do not allow an early transfer before then.
Rio Tinto today declared a final dividend of 258.0 cents per share, up from 225.0 cents per share in 2022 and ahead of the LSEG estimate of 247.0 cents per share.
I am in a similar position to you GH55 although i'm not as far as 50% down as you are.
Unfortunately or you to break even you need a 100% swing to the upside which could take a very very long time if it happens at all. :(
Iparsnip is usually right about this share . He and i have been badly burned by Tui's share price these past couple of years so his pessimism about today's eventual performance is rooted in experience.
As i look now the price is down 30p from its initial high today and now stands at £5.96
Hi Mike,
Yes for the first time in a long time I now have hope that we see a share price revival coming.
Thanks for your reasoned and insightful posts, they really help to separate the wood from the trees
Hi KOS,
When i enquired with my broker they said that as the delisting isn't officially confirmed yet they would not speculate on what they will do with my shares.
As soon as the decision of the delisting is taken and the information becomes official then they said they would advise me accordingly
The share price is flying up again today - a 9% rise as i type this - lovely jubbly :)
For some reason there is a lot of selling going on today in the tens of thousands of shares bracket.
I know the annual results are due this month so maybe some people are betting on them being not great?
It would be great to see a dividend next year, but my broker wont make a decision on what to do with my shares until they have full details of the delisting from the Tui BOD next week. So i'm in a bit of limbo really until the results of the ballot are made public
I think its more to do with this news story to be honest :)

I have sold my shares today too because I am a dividend investor and cutting the dividend (however temporary) for me is a time to move on.
I wish everyone who is holding on to their shares the best of British though.
