I'm with many other posters ... satisfyingly bored with SAVE. So tell us what other O and G stocks people own but perhaps sometimes wish they didn't. Mine -President Energy. My love affair with Levine's little S America jaunt over many years which have seen shares issued like confetti. Can't bring myself to sell as I got to know him a bit.

Half yearly figures by end of August. Plant upgrade announced over the likely over the next few months. After that progress with BFS scheduled for completion Aug 22 according to the company I imagine the latter will be a number of updates throughout the process.

On the whole positive RNS. I can't get my head around Atome announcement. Maybe all will become clear. Related transactions always make me feel uncomfortable.

Haven't posted for a while. I'm sure we'll get an update soon. Just be content that we have one of the world's best deposit of any resource. I've been investigating in mining companies for years and there are very few truly world class Tier 1 assets. This is on a par with Arrow deposit (Nexgen Uranium), Great Bear resources (Gold) and are market cap is still small. We also have existing operations. skilled workforce and geographically advantageous position. Hold for a few years and I easily see a billion pound company if we're not taken out by Chinese entity before then.

Execution risk has always been the issue. Nick target of £10 on Crux interview maybe very optimistic but once funding secured for the main project in place it will well above IPO price of approx 70p. It's clear now why so little communication in recent months. If anyone new to this story take a look at Crux interview look at VSA research (paid for so will be biased). It's aTier 1 major deposit for MC <50m MC even it's byproducts will be in demand when it gets built.

Hi Dave. I'm doing the same. Nobodies talking about vanadium being likely in deficit this year. It's a tier 1 deposit with measly upfront capex and lowest production costs. Pilot plant should ramp up and skilled workforce. It's just taken so long. Hopefully Western bankable FS should serve as a catalyst to funding. Location close to China. Also vanadium supply really inelastic and after Rebar announcement investor interest is absent. The company has made some errors along way but has been unlucky with timing market then COVID. I'm slowly accumulating til FS drops.

Recent investor here. Found the price action here quite interesting. Sudden automatic sales then big buys. Given price of oil surprised that we aren't tracking PMO. I doubt we'll here anything about arbitration from Indian government til next month although you never know.

New share holder here as of today. Good risk reward IMHO. Cairn is a prudent well run company. I think Indian Government may procrastinate til last minute like they did with vodafone when they ultimately appealed. Encouraging to see Blackrock and other major institutions sabre rattling and perhaps such massively influential funds with the enormous wealth they have under management may have sway India's response. There has been some interesting price action which given Blackrocks increase holdings gives a good entry now especially as oil price has held up well. News either way could land anytime will lead to a doubling in share price if they pay up or a drop for appeal. Anticipation might see a small run up in share price til March. ATB

Only added last week so 0.92. I lost 90% with ROSE and sold out but thankfully never bought much at the beginning. I bought X3 more in Zephyr just last week. Volume is increasing and hopefully so positive announcements week after next. CEO is very articulate and Board now aligned. Will it be a JV or go alone. My experience of Highland Natural resources wasn't good as farm out with True gave away too much of a stake before PoO collapsed (worked out in the end as ZOE 3 bagged before I sold....more by luck than design).

Ex Rose holder. Looks like a very good risk reward with minimal downside and BoD aligned with shareholders. First tranche today. I'm sure there will be a fundraising soon but execution of recent drill was exceptional.

Nice to see good news announcements. Still down with an average of 3. I first bought when it was in double figures. I think with Az shambles AC has done well to pivot the company in a relatively short timescale. Of course dilution has been huge but we now have significant potential. I'd argue his salary is way too much but credit he is repositioning the company. Valuing the company is immensely hard but there is considerable upside if we execute. I'm being patient that my speculation will work out.

Hi NTM. TSX listed O and G sector I do follow and have traded. It's had a poor few years. Marijuana stocks and now a boom in resource stocks have left OG sector in duldrums. I feel that the tide will turn but probably back end of 2021 especially for Canadian Gas plays. They have fantastic geology and emerging ability to export in future. Many are highly leveraged. I think we have entered a consolidating phase with M and A now. Gas prices will improve just not quite yet. Two companies I know and have owned spoken to Darren Gee of Peyto and Phil Hodge of Pine Cliff. Once this winter is over I'll look at building a bigger position. Of topic so apologies but for those looking at the next contrarian play good place to look. ATB

Fully agree with the analysis. I'd also suggest Thor Exploration and their Segilola mine being built in Nigeria. Fully funded by AFC. Pays for itself in less than a year. It's a small resource which will be upgraded and enlarged and they have other assets with work progressing. Mines in construction usually have run up in share price before first pour. Jurisdiction risk may put some off but government keen on diversifying away fro
Oil and Gas. Sharess are listed on TSX but I know that Management looking at a London listing. I hold shares so am biased and I know the CEO but give them a look over and see if it meets your criteria. I'd agree HUM is also undervalued too.

Really interesting. Are you bullish on oil tankers as well?

I think a Paraguay farm will bring in speculative investing so my prediction is a big uplift in share price if and when an announcement comes. Steady progress next year I hope and obviously a better oil price. There's some speculation of more shares but President has low debt and better access now to alternative non dilutive funding. I do contact PL from time to time and I feel that he will do well for us over next few years. My average is 4p so won't sell until showing a profit. As for acquisitions I think we'll take on additional producing assets in 2021. ATB

Welcome to SAVE ownership. As they say you've got to own it to know it. The welcome share price action is nice but potential for the assets is multiple of where we are now. I'm sure we'll have some retracement so view is as an opportunity to buy some more. Lots of great posters on here and I wish all of you a Happy New Year.

Absolutely bargain at current levels. My previous average 28 so I've added. Very cheap compared to others. Potential pound weakness means that it should be a M and A target . Gold should do well in q1. Not long before being debt free. Encouraging drill results. Could be wrong but downside risk is low.

Interesting discussion about top slicing. I guess if you are overweight fair enough. Whenever I've done this I rue that share price continues to rise. Maybe I'm just being greedy

Interesting discussion. Apologies it's been a few months since posting. I had this very conversation with Darren Gee who is CEO of Peyto during crash a few months ago. Peyto is much bigger than SAVE and trades on TSX. Talking to traders buyback shares (NCIB) provides additional liquidity for shorts. When those computers see the buyback orders they pounce and short the stocks even harder driving them down even more. In Peyto case computers make up 70% volume they simply didn't have enough cash to against this trading. It was an interesting perspective and debt paying down was a priority for his company. Appreciate this is AIM and it's far more illiquid in SAVE case. I still feel we will do well in time.
