I have read recently that the government have already bought antibody testing kits from the swiss manufacturer Roche.

Yep. ODX is definitely flavour of the month at the moment. EUZ wont attract that level of interest until there is news of a deal of some sort. IMO

Quite conclusive, but as Bobby Beal pointed out at what price. I can see that the work that the board is currently carry out is all about proving up commerciallity of the asset in order to strengthen our position. It's no longer good enough to say we have 17mt of Zinc ore, what the market wants to know is from that ore how much Zinc is recoverable as a percentage and what will the smelting process involve.

Syntax, I also remember that being discussed and LR confirming that the clause did still exist at that time. Unfortunately there is no way of knowng if that has progressed due to the many NDAs currently in place and I suspect discussions with Lundin may still be on going at some level.
It's just a waiting game now to see what direction the BOD take.

I would love to here the EUZ shareholders views on what they would prefer to see as the forward thinking strategy for EUZ and its Toral project.

It's a fair point Bobby. The asset is brilliant, but I would like to be given a more informed update on what we are going to do with it and how.

Reading through today's thread and recalling what has been said in previous posts, I am puzzled at how quickly expectations can change.
The asset hasn't changed and is still colossal, so once funding is in place with either a sale or joint venture, I fully expect to see an SP of 1p, with further upside if we participate in JV and production.
Must be the Monday blues or perhaps expectations change dependant on which way the wind is blowing.
The best course of action would be to wait and see what the directors of the company agree with interested parties.

It is my opinion that the mine will be taken forward on new capital raised from the Silver . There is Approximately £156 million of Silver within our asset and I would not be surprised to here that an agreement is made to sell at a discount once the mining licence is approved.
As a further discussion point, a board of directors do not themselves need to hold the specialist expertise required to develop a mine. Henry Ford did not know how to manufacture a V8 engine, but his employees did.

Thanks to both Bobby and Oil for their posts. I have to admit that I am very positive about the way EUZ have progressed over the last six months.
I should also like to say that I would not let my shares in EUZ go for a share of 20million..

I have had an email from Laurence Read in response to an email I sent asking about current progress on JV or Sale of the Toral project. Whilst he obviously would not discuss anything that could be considered market sensitive he did say that constructive meetings have taken place online and the following ;
"What we are really looking at is how to make the mine as efficient/profitable as possible hence the met, we shall update further once this work has been progressed."
I am confident that an RNS will follow after the Bank Holiday with an additional update

It takes less if you count 25million at a time. Making money out of EUZ now is about how big a percentage you hold. The number of share in issue is vast, but 170 million is still 1%.

Cahus, I think 20 times would be a bit light to be honest. as it would value Europa Metals at £80m. With £4Billion in metal resource in the ground 50 times current Sonia would be a more appropriate figure. Only my opinion . GLA
