Definitely something fishy going on today. In all my time invested, never seen such wild swings in one day. Don't trust anyone, it's being played big time by certain LTHs.

I would like BMN to follow the same pattern as one of my former shares, Eros International. Bought them at £1.50, taken over and listed on NYSE for the equivalent of £8.78. Otherwise, any hostile takeover bid can get stuffed.

I would image it's Wogen, hopefully the last of their 4m warrants.

Pdub, you seem to be taking all this Meyer stuff very personally. Chill out, we're all pleased with what he's saying lately, the important questions is, is anyone listening? The best song in the world won't get to No. 1 if no one ever hears it.

It's not a matter of being scathing of SP Angel, it's more about accepting the reality of the situation. They may not have the tools to make a fundamental difference to anything. Therefore, both praise and criticism of Meyer is pointless.

I would say that for a broker to have genuine value, it should be able to utilise its tools and resources to reach the largest possible buyer base. Now, SP Angel might be a two bob broker. In which case, you pay for what you get and Meyer is fulfilling expectations as far as BMN are concerned. Maybe it's time we should stop pretending his words (or price targets) are going to have a material effect on anything, whatever we think of him.

There is another question mark against John Meyer. Irrespective of whether he is bullish on BMN or not, the channels of communication he uses to promote BMN are practically useless. We can discuss the pro and cons in our own insular little world, but who else is reading or watching? Viewership numbers for Proactive Investors or Voxpodcast are pitiful - and I mean, pitiful.

Maybe we should ask ourselves what we should realistically expect to get from a broker. Does BMN employ them because AIM-listed companies have to, or is it because they offer some sort of genuine value. At the moment, it seems more like the former.

Probably have an agreement not to dump 4m in one trade.

First, I want to apologise if I offended you previously. On reflection I was overly-sarcastic and made unwarranted assumptions. We will never agree on EWT as it's as much a philosophicaI study as analytical, and I am no doubt approaching that philosophy from an opposing viewpoint.

Ultimately, I believe any company with fundamentals as strong as BMN will conform to an upward trend, and there will of course be waves of buying and selling motivated by herd mentality that may or may not appear to fit an EWT hypothesis.

Regardless of what I believe, I hope your theories are fruitful because it will be good for me and everyone else invested in this fantastic share.

@ophidian - Whole populations do not buy individual stocks. News flow has huge impact on individual stocks, less on markets.

I've worked with brokers from Spain, France, UK and Germany, they're paid to visit their clients, dig into the financials, are wined and dined and provide forecasts. They must know the numbers and be able to give accurate forecasts based on market conditions, or are we saying they know less than people on this forum?

I'm not saying they can reveal confidential information, but they should be armed with enough info to provide a realistic price target. To say they're awaiting HI figures, like everyone else, sounds ridiculous.

Shouldn't the broker already know the black and white numbers? It's from that assessment they provide a price target.

But the historical volitility of V prices is not based on the same factors as today. As Meyer is a mining 'expert', surely he should be aware of this and upgrade the price target to more realistically reflect BMN's position, never mind sizeably increased income.

He has been more bullish recently, and I'm open to changing my mind on him, but his own valuation is crazy and if BMN is paying a broker they should be more analytical in the company's financial operations. Even a conservative estimate, which I'm fine with, would be way higher than where we're priced at this moment.

Stop hounding Nvhltd, he is entitled to his point of view. If commissioning is late and he wants to complain, let him - it's called free speech. Making a big fuss out of something so minor shows insecurity in your investment.

In my opinion, so what if it's late? It's not feasible for a company to accurately hit all its targets ad infinitum. Unforeseen events dictate change and unpredictable outcomes. As long as BMN's projections are made in good faith, it's not a problem and, overall, the company is beyond criticism.

Buying big is relative. Certain large holders want to create trading patterns that are beneficial to them, and it's not difficult to do on a share with such low volume. They know where it's going long-term, but greed dictates they can make even more money by manipulating the price and day trading the share.

Indeed, my recent clash with Ophidian has seen more posts removed. I cannot prove who is removing posts, therefore cannot apportion specific blame, but it definitely stinks. There also appears to be some form of SP manipulation going on, with artificial boundaries being created by LT holders to peg back the price. Please note, for the sake of not wanting to drag the board down with more argumentative drivel, this accusation is NOT specific to anyone on this board.

The good news is, nothing will stop this share regardless, and the few posters we all rely on to provide excellent information continues unabated and remains a blessing.
