Ripley is exactly the same as those who talk the share down. They're different sides of the same coin - extremists obsessed with hyping their own point of view in an attempt to manipulate others, but they all share one thing - a lack of confidence in what they are saying/doing.

For me, none of these views make Avacta any less appealing as an investment. Extreme views should go where they belong - in the bin.

Doubt we'll see V prices at $120 again, or whether it would be desirable. 1) Steel makers would move fast next time to replace vanadium with niobium. 2) It would stop VRFBs in their tracks and leave BE with a non-producing electrolyte plant.

It might be an amazing SP boost in the short-term, but Mojapelo doesn't want price spikes, he wants the V price constant at around $55. That alone would add $40m to profits above what BMN is earning now.

SD was a reaffirmation of what was already known - anything materially new would have had to have been RNSd. That doesn't meant it wasn't a useful exercise in terms of giving shareholders or potential shareholders more depth and clarity on Avacta's bio-tech - I certainly learned a lot.

Because they're stupid? Just because they think they're moving the needle doesn't mean they are. After SD did not tell us anything new or significant, there was likely to be a period of silence so people sold. That would have happened irrespective of a few dumb ****s thinking they have the power to move the SP by spreading bullsh*t.

If you're influenced by comments on here rather than what the board says in an RNS or the actions of the company that's your own fault. Ultimately, you have to educate yourself and even with all that education you are never in control of your investment - you just increase the odds of being right.

As for forums, you may need a little help regarding something technical written in an RNS but that's about it.

As with most boards on LSE, 98% of what is written is complete garbage and only a handful of people have anything insightful to add.

Recent SP movements reflect the fact that lots of people sell when they perceive a news vacuum. You may get some low IQ morons shorting, but the vast majority of traders don't make money. It's a full time job and you need to be highly intelligent. The idea that a successful trader needs to reduce themselves to spreading lies and misinformation on a forum to make money is as laughable as it sounds.

Either you believe in the tech or you don't - everything else is just noise.

Companies can be listed on both. This doesn't guarantee a share price boost, however. 4D Pharma listed on Nasdaq and went bust within 12 months.

A massive £1,800 worth of shares bought today, apparently, yet we're blue. Just goes to show what a complete waste of time this website's trading data is.

A truly independent broker would recommend SELL on a stock. When has a BMN broker ever predicted a decline in SP based on current price? Never.

The content of their reports are merely a summary of existing information, which may be of some use, but the forecast is pointless. Of course, Mojapelo knows all that, but rather than man up and explain the reality of an SP that's tanked he leans on the fake forecasts he's paid for.

You do realise that in order to be market listed you HAVE to have a broker. So BMN is forced to pay for one and it's quite evident that their previous targets have been complete rubbish.

So yeah, paid-off, or whatever you want to call it, the whole industry is one big scam and you'd have to be dreadfully naive to think otherwise.

I expect BMN to have a decent 2023 if the V price holds up. However, nobody can take broker valuations seriously as they're paid by the company to give positive valuations. That Fortune is happy to patronise shareholders by using broker note targets as a guide for future performance is pretty lamentable stuff.

The fact that at no point did any of BMN's brokers predict the share price drop from 48p to where it is now proves that they're either utterly incompetent or paid-off.

A distinction should be made between a director buying shares because he believes in the future of the company and a director being given them as part of their remuneration package.
