Good to see a policeman taking positive action ,and not pussy footing around with someone determined to exploit our lenient laws to the full ,usually to the detriment of many of our law abiding working populace .

Not a satisfactory explanation ,the authorities have known for a long time about this activity ,obstructiing a public highway is I am told a criminal offence ,should be arrested put in a secure vehicle and removed eventually to court 2 police vans and a dozen trained officers suitably equipped ,simple ,straight forward , for God’s sake get some back bone back into this country before the plot is totally lost .

Surely quite simple obstruction =Offence ,Police take immediate action to remove ,forthwith ,or maybe they (the police) should explain why not !!! Or has the law changed for some ???!!

Yes I am well aware of the current malaise ofthe uk , just being relatively polite !! Perhaps the truck companies ,spending lots of unnecessary time delivering goods ,drivers and therefore costs running out of driving time , all as a result of illegal obstruction on a public highway , intending to slow if not stop legal movement ,the police should take firm action in the interests of all ,not kid gloving irritants within our society ,and the companies invoicing those responsible for incurring extra costs !!! Appreciate they wouldn’t get paid ,but the courts and then the Police could take action ,but don’t hold yer breath we are rapidly becoming a spineless state .

Thanks for that ,good to know we’ve got some on here with first hand knowledge of procedure ,and can ignore the hypocracy brigade ,who obviously would prefer they use anything relating to oil and gas from either a closed society or a head chopping country , they want to be careful what they wish for !!!

Reductions should have happened a year ago ,when lth,s witnessed many broken promises by Rufus then give himself a wage rise needless to say he ignored the protestations, Now taking shares at nominal value instead of salary etc. However going to enjoy a 4 fold rise !!! Some reduction in salary !!! A condition should’ve been obliged to retain for at least 2years to let the next lot of promises come to fruitition OR NOT some of us have watched thousands of £dwindle into. Virtually nothing thanks entirely to Rufus,and his continual failure to come up with a successful outcome and we are talking in excess of 8/9 years ,hope the new recruits read this !!!

Appreciate the detailed explanation ,but not having any first hand knowledge of mining /drilling etc. Is there a formula to arrive at the 72% success ,as a layman and understand drilling so close. To the previous successful drill ,would’ve thought should be even higher !! As it also indicates a possible 28% failure , or is the point of access to the known gas reserves very narrow ,would appreciate your thoughts/knowledge on this ,thanks
