Completely agree Cantique, though i suspect the caveats are only to cover their asses! The approval from a safety aspect was already gained when they allowed patients to self administer at home. The demand to get this an EUA will be immense. I think It'll be more thinking outside the box from SNG to go about how they gather the additional data off the back of that.

Exactly, there was another scientist from Sheffield saying some b0ll0cks like 'these results aren't interpretable'.

Ultimately these doom merchants and naysayers will be silenced as SNG continue to go about doing exactly what they said they'll do!

Hi CW, its sat around c.300m at the minute. If todays result is backed up by successful COPD and at home trials then its surely 750-850m is reasonable?

Theyve said they're aiming to supply a few hundred thousand doses a month by winter. Pricing could be anywhere between £200-600 a dose when compared with its peers.

Thats without COPD or home trials factored in.

The Current MCAP of c.300m has not priced in COPD or home trial. This drug has already been approved for patients to self administer at home so an EUA is very much on the cards.

Few hundred thousand doses a month to be supplied by winter. Do the math.

Dan Brown if you listened to the report you would have heard Prof. Holgate saying that this is so much more than a vaccine because of the potential as a broad spectrum antiviral. Hi Dibs, completely agree! There was link posted here by dealer55 a few weeks back that gave NHS prices for interferon based drugs and they were minimum £500. Remdesivir is $3-400 a pop. Potential is huge and i hear people mentioning NCYT and all but even they are only going to generate £120m in revenue this year and this could dwarf that. Even if ya reduce the price the demand will increase in my view.

Apologies, in the below estimation i used 300,000 doses as the monthly target they are aiming to supply as they said, 'a few hundred thousand doses a month by winter'. The point still stands though, you could even reduce the price but the demand could see the drug generate 3-400m in revenue this winter for COVID alone.

The potential here is still huge. They're aiming to be able to provide 100,000's of doses by winter. At £100 a dose (which is a lot cheaper than remdesivir), that's £360m annual revenue. Even if £100 per dose is an expensive estimation, any potential licencing agreements could raise the number of doses 10-fold. 100,000 doses only treats 7000 patients over a 14 days course. Daily infection rates are 10 times that.

That's without COPD or home trial results considered.

All we can do until we get results is speculate but I agree with Rich; RM's language from the earlier interview to the one last month was definitely a lot more confident.
