Takenorisk, there's nothing to suggest RM hasn't communicated accurately to shareholders. They said July for the previous set of results and delivered, emphatically.

However If there isn't an update by Friday and the SP does drop i will not be playing the blame game with anyone cause I appreciate the complexity of what SNG are currently trying to achieve and firmly believe that the longer this goes on the more progress they are making, on several fronts.

Their absolute priority is saving lives and if they succeed the SP will take care of itself.

Investor relations will only quote timelines that are in an RNS. They say Summer. It was RM who said next month in the interviews.

I've only added since 20th July. After surviving the drop from 70 to 32p this is much easier to weather. No way i'm selling a single share until I understand what the scale-up/licencing looks like.

There will likely have to be some form of additional data collection (phase 3) but what that looks like is still to be understood. SNG have pioneered leading changes in the clinical trial process over the last few months so what happens next could be very different to the norm.

Emergency approval is an entirely different matter and if they get that then there will be high demand that will need to be met with the help of a licencee(s). If that happens then the route through phase 3 etc will be fully laid out in the licencing agreement anyway.

Youre correct there Seb, the press have continuously drew attention to the fact that it was only 101 patients in the trial. However they also seem to omit (or are not aware of) the further 109 COPD patient data that will be useful for the approval process.

Todays drop is the first significant drop since 22/23rd July when it dropped to 160ish. That in itself is impressive for this market and in this climate. However despite todays drop, nothing has changed which is the exact same as what was happening mid July.

At no point in the article does she mention the use of the drug for COPD and the potential effect of the imminent trial results on the share price. The article is way off the mark.

Anyone can pick a stock and talk up the risks so they can point to another stock that they want to peddle

Thats true, one would hope that the previous safety data for Interferon will support a faster route to the home market for this delivery method. SNG001 is already being trialled at home as well so the authorities obviously deem it to be safe.

Interferon Beta is a naturally occurring protein therefore in theory could be used on anyone, even as a prophylactic.

However there have been side effects observed in patients when administered via IV over prolonged length of time for conditions such as MS.

Inhalation method of delivery should alleviate the side effects however that would all need to be properly demonstrated in clinical trials before they would be allowed to administer to anyone.

It's a little different with the COPD data as they've been granted permission to analyse on the basis that it'll support the data from the Covid trial, to support the approval process. To me that gives them a little leeway in how/when they present it.

Although COPD data is due in August their absolute priority is to get the drug out there to help the Covid pandemic. If they are to receive an approval (emergency or otherwise) to start treating people and SNG (or their prospective licencees) project the demand to outweigh current stock levels, then they will also need a licencing/distribution deal in place.

In my mind, the longer we go without news the more likely we will get 1 or a quick succession of RNS's addressing COPD, approvals, licencing and next steps in development.

Completely agree Jakman! The longer we go without a deal the more SNG can raise the value. From a regulatory standpoint, I also think the longer we go here without news, the better. If there were any glaring holes in the data set that needed further trial data then we likely would have heard by now.

It is incredibly difficult to put a value on, i think Finncap even said as much. Pressed on the numbers, RM has stated that "you only need to look at the amount of money being paid for vaccines". The US an UK/EU have ordered something like 6bn in different vaccines each so that's why my mind is anchored somewhere between 2-6bn.

If its effective for COPD sufferers then I think anything less than 2 would be massively selling themselves (and us) short. However It is unlikely to be the only treatment needed for covid which suggests an upper limit as well.

I dont think itll be as clean as a buyout at this time due to the outstanding development. I think any licence deal(s) will be an upfront payment if EUA is confirmed and milestone payments to complete phase 3 etc.

Pushed for numbers then I think up front payment could be anywhere between 2-4bn with milestones of a further 1-2bn. So SP anywhere between 13.50 and 40.

£40 is insane though!
