He has made it clear in a number of interviews over several months that they don't want to be in a position where they get approvals and can't help people.

Just re-watched it; He is specifically talking about the previous fundraise in March and says they used some of it to focus on some of the cheaper supply chain items that have much longer lead times - so that if they get approvals they have the drug on the shelf.

He does say that they'll need more funding (understandable because demand will likely be huge) however he doesn't say they need funding to have meaningful quantities. In fact, he's went on record several times in previous interviews to say they were working towards having 'meaningful quantities' (his words) in place for winter.

Scinv, I'm not sure what you mean about only ramping production for part of the drug?

RM has been very clear in several interviews that they've been working toward being able to supply millions of doses by winter. Thats everything thats needed to treat people should the drug get approved.

Scinv, RM has been clear that the next steps will require cash and that they cant go it alone. Although they've used the previous fundraise to raise millions of doses, at 14 doses a patient that clearly won't be enough.

Having said that, if they were going to raise cash by issuing shares they would have done so +£2 when Venrock et al were buying.

That only really leaves government support or licence agreements. I look forward to finding out which itll be as neither will be cheap.

Seb, I dont think anythings delayed because no timelines were set on the next step.

What I do know is that emergency approvals are no good if distribution isn't in place. Distribution is likely to involve government(s) or licencee(s). Both licence or government agreements would come with huge political benefit to those in government therefore they would want everything in place before they announce it.

SNG have a fair few ducks to get in a row if theyre to deliver the drug to market this winter and that takes time. I'm really comfortable though because there are few alternatives, numbers are rising and we're not even into winter yet.

Seb, do you really think big pharma are sitting at home watching/listening to the news and waiting? They'll have a very good idea of where we're at with this virus and how long it may prevail. They'll also know how valuable any therapeutics are that can tackle it.

There has been nothing to counter all of the different pieces of evidence that interferon works to treat covid and the topline hospital results (plus COPD results) show that SNG001 in particular will be a leading candidate to treat Covid. Cases are on the rise in the UK and Europe so demand is growing.

All the noise on here is just that. People have their own reasons for selling and if they profit im delighted for them. Im not selling a share.

Thank you WedMe! I think what we're starting to see with your post (and Monicello's yesterday) is the eventual publication of the science that a lot of us based our investment here on. Those initial (non-peer reviewed) reports that suggested interferon would be really effective against Covid led a lot of us to invest heavily in SNG before the 20th July. Yet as the official publications start to filter through, still there is no scientific argument against the use of this inhaled treatment, and there remains little else to combat the disease early.

It's only a short matter of time before we see approval for this and it's going to be incredibly valuable!

Thanks Monticello, Interesting that it was received for review on the 31st July. Cant be long until publication of the hospotal results which, though not necessary for approvals etc, will do the SP no harm.

1) he said in 20th July interview that recruitment was slow in the home trial due to the success of shielding in the target group (over 65s or over 50s who are at risk).

2)Peer review is simply the publication of the data to the scientific community/public. It is not a pre-requisite for approvals or licencing agreements as the regulatory agencies and licencees will do their own assessment of the entire dataset.

Infoking, that has always been the case with the home trials. The completion of home trial recruitment has taken so long because the target group fall into the 'shielding' category so they have been largely protected by that.

I guess it depends on how close SNG are to EMA/EUA. If theyre in a position to get those approvals ahead of winter then they've achieved that through bloody hard work (and some luck with the timing). It would be a right kick in the teeth if the government were to then relax the rules.

Having said that, the top line results suggest SNG001 being a leading treatment for Covid so if all the competition were to be given approvals you'd still fancy SNG001 to own a large piece of the market.
