Too often on here this topic comes up. The job of a CEO is to grow a company over the medium-long term. Besides inflating the price before a rights issue it is of very little importance what happens to the share price in the short term. The company releases rns' because they are legally obliged to, not to babysit the share price.

As long as the company keeps growing, the share price will eventually catch up with or without good PR.

No need to leave Bungle. Sh3 has his/her detractors but the majority of us like their posts and will continue to defend them.

That's okay, thanks for telling it how it is MS. I thought as much and am happy all the same. Psychologically it always helps to be higher and the low to mid 300s feels like a very solid base for novacyt until the next bit of news lands.

I assumed either a leak relating to a large tender or a leak regarding US news. Barring that possibly Voleon closing out their short? Whatever it is it's wonderful to see the sp crash through the £3 mark this time. I just want to know if I should be excited for 7am tomorrow or not?!!!

It's crazy what's going on over there. They are testing 750k people a day and yet the whole system is inadequate and they just don't seem to have the capabilities for a rapid testing programme right now. If our planned contribution to America is at the systemic level rather than just supplying a few 100k tests a week then it could be transformational for the company...

If we get a contract anywhere near that one we'll be seeing new year highs in the blink of an eye.

There is now possible news from numerous fronts that could send this skywards. Whilst we all wait eagerly for a major contract with PHE/DHSC we could be entrenching our position in the US and other major economies (India particularly).

If we can stay at this level without news and with shorters trying to suppress the sp then I see that as very auspicious.

Is it me or do synairgen act quite differently to other listed companies? It seems most companies keep their shareholders in the loop far more to keep them relaxed and invested. Fortunately we know how Richard and the team work so have no reason to worry or panic in the way other 'here today gone tomorrow' investors likely will.

It would be good if a poster was automatically removed once a certain number of others had filtered them. I know it could be abused but in general it would just be a safeguard against the sort of trolling and trivia we're seeing once again on here and save the lse moderators some time.

Thank you Exmex. I don't like seeing Voleon digging in and upping it day by day but I've just got to believe they aren't in the know in anyway. I've once again got caught up in the hype and am over-invested. I did this with synairgen and eventually sold a third of my holding the Friday before the 430% rise on the Monday, so will not allow myself to get spooked again this time!

If we got a tender less than 25% of our market cap it would be highly surprising (doesn't that just highlight the upside here?!)

Are they updated minute by minute? If it ends up on bidstats before being rns'd that'll be a massive heads up for those spotting it first.

Will it really be that hard to fill now that synairgen have managed to get their name out there? We are talking 120 patients and there are currently about 700 people a day testing positive. Getting 1% of new cases signed up would mean filling the trial in two to three weeks...

Nolupus, what's your take on the COPD readout delay? I remember very early July you seeming like you were jumping ship due to the lateness then...

I agree Chris that the timing seems intentional, I just didn't think it was acceptable to curate the results timeline as you like?!
