Well at barely £2m mcap it's now priced to fail .

This video is very heartening. We all know if 6103 follows through on the preclinical then we are all going to do very well out of this investment and so far there's nothing to suggest it's anything but performing as expected.

Less than six months away max from truly knowing what we have here, possibly much less if some 6103 news is released even earlier.

What's the reason bitcoin is falling back so? Usually it moves in similar ways to gold but that's held up fine today.

Even with that difficulty adjustment downwards it remains higher than it was on average through March plus BTC is slightly lower through May so far than it was in March - March saw btc ATHs don't forget.

My $3.5m figure wasn't plucked out of thin air albeit there's still all of May to go for the BTC price to rise.

There is no scenario in the medium term, even losing the DHSC dispute, that would require a rights issue. It would be a major blow and make it an uphill battle to even get back to the likes of £1.50/£2 but certainly wouldn't be terminal (if you understand the dispute well enough to know the maximum payback).

I echo other posters today. This is now my largest holding and yet is the only share I wouldn't consider top slicing however much it rises. Potential is massive and very real.

Newbie question - hoe do ETFs and more specifically bitcoin etfs work? Does the tracker buy bitcoin directly? What benefit is there for someone like me to invest in a bitcoin tracker vs bitcoin itself?

Yes true. And when this starts moving it will really move and money will come on from RIOT and other miners' gains.

So right now the market cap of bitcoin is just over a trillion dollars. Does that mean for bitcoin to double from here a trillion dollars of new investment is needed or am I not understanding how this sort od thing works? If the majority of bitcoin is held does that mean a much smaller injection of capital will be enough to see bitcoin double? If anyone could explain how the price mechanism works that would be of great help!!!

Some have a slow turn around time and are highly accurate and some have a fast turn around time and are inaccurate - take your pick. It's not like people get tested to find out whether or not they're infected or anything!

... and this drops hard today/tomorrow before the environmental audit committee - I've got hold of money to invest heavily. In a year's time this will likely be just a small blip on boohoo's continuous growth journey.

Personally I think it's a given that the sort of mass testing we're seeing currently will and should come to an end. I'm no longer invested in novacyt however for their covid test, I'm invested because I believe this will become a UK leading diagnostics company. You only have to look at Roche (€265b mcap) to understand how much potential for growth there is within this sector. If we eventually end up just 1/30th the size of that multinational in five or so years many of us here will no longer need to ever work again!

No it isn't going to short term, it might medium - long term. You'll lose money chasing those sorts of gains though, it's just pot luck investing...

Making big money from the stock market isn't easy. Jusy buying and expecting it to double right away isn't going to happen. Patience.
