roly12 - I totally agree with your comments I have always thought that by the end of Qtr 1 we needed significant news & it has started today.If as I expect we have a positive news update this month we will see further increases in the SP although we still have a long way to go.I am now showing 'Strong Buy'

Hi All - Following my earlier post I believe that we should now get the final results for 31.12.21 & based on todays RNS it should allow them to publish results with no form of audit qualification as they will now hopefully be considered as a 'Going Concern' & will now have a 12 month cash runway from the date of signing.
I am now hoping for contract news sometime this month & I will be e-mailing with regards the ML in two weeks time.Regards to all long term investors.

That was close clearly they had no funds to pay current outstanding loans due for payment.As a retired accountant working for various companies including on AIM that was the closest to being in pre admin as I can think. Hopefully there will be some improvement in the SP & we can move on.For some this will be one share that will be going up.

I note that the tug ready to assist ET from leaving the dock has now gone - looks to me that the 'Russian issue' not yet resolved.

H&W rely on 'social media' to inform people as to where they are they need to improve on this currently we are being held out to dry as we hold onto our shares hoping that finally the SP will improve.

Hi mcadder - It is indeed sad to see the SP where it is but on AIM as many of us know no news on AIM can kill the SP.Clearly many private investors are jumping ship which will continue to drive the SP down.I am disappointed that we have had no trading update & I fear that they are waiting for that elusive contract before telling us where they stand.It is true that there is activity in the Belfast yards which will ease the situation.The position is not helped by this Government added to which we have the'Putin' effect.I am under too much water to Sell now & hope for a reversal in the downward trend.My son is horrified by the SP having encouraged him to invest which I am underwriting so adds to my potential losses.Each day I look for a RNS announcing a contract but sadly not yet.The irony is that if we all had faith in H&W this is a great moment for a top up but I am not Warren Buffett.

'Agreed. The story around the contract they had, or didn’t have, for an offshore wind service vessel was quite bizarre. I know they need funds to develop the business and I’m in it for the long term and nostalgia as both parents worked at H&W and went to a few launches as a young child. I hope the Islandmagee project can move rapidly as the country needs the gas storage and a ship order would be truly transformational. HMG need to keep the yard in business with a dock that size as an alternative to service the aircraft carriers. The Royal Navy frigate programme seems to have built stability and long term guaranteed workload for Rosyth, now there needs to be a similar flow for other yards. British ships built in British yards provide a vast return for Government in wages, income tax, NI and corporation tax repeated over and over through sub-contractors and local suppliers. No more government contracts should go to Korea or elsewhere.'
