I note that looking at Parliament TV House of Commons starts at 11.30 this morning so far no mention in the agenda for any announcement so expect something at 11.30. It will be clear when Parliament TV goes live just before & we see Ben Wallace MPis seen sitting there.

Hi Jurado - I am with Interactive Investors & have said to them I want to take part & I am waiting notification so far they have not received the details but for me with a very small holding will be going for it & risk a drop in the SP.

Hi EP - The rights issue is based on holding on a certain date possible 6th Jan but if shares Sold I cannot see how your platform can allocate shares to you but could be wrong.
When the 'Old Summit' was on AIM & before the crash I Sold forward at an ambitious rate & too my amazement the SP did peak for a short while & bang Sold.I decided what would I realistically Sell for as Sell forward avoids the holding over the Sell button.Currently Summit is going up & down like a yo yo so it is difficult to know when to press the button.
Good luck & once again getting to break even may not happen again I know when I got there I Sold & did not regret it.

stokey12 - That is good news & bodes well for the first quarter & suggests good faith in H&W.

Hi roly12 - Thanks for your question.With regards negative equity they will need the support of creditors not to push for payment etc.With regards the MOD it is likely they carried out financial due diligence first in order to move onto operational due diligence so at a time when forecasts were rosier.The £77m inward investment is significant but is for inward investment not for working capital.I agree with Pokerchips who sums the situation up well especially in the last sentence.

Hi stokey12 - The HMS Atherstone position is unlikely to move the dial if at all certainly not to significantly improve the results.I still remain hopeful.

Hi Nobby31 - Having just posted after your post this morning I can also support your views the problem for H&W is getting through the current year end accounting wise & cash flow wise etc.

Hi Speedy_Gonzalez - I can understand where you are coming from & as a retired corporate accountant I also have concerns.
The Net Assets following the interim results as at 30.06.22 was £3.6m after showing a loss of £17.7m & it will only take losses of a further £3.6m to bring them down to £zero assets & £zero reserves similar to a forecast I recently looked at.Since the forecast, published post the interim results, we have had a poor trading update.H&W could be moving into negative equity all things being equal.
Provided the FSS contract is signed & a finance package agreed it could be argued that the Fixed Trading Assets have increased in value & a further revaluation would help.In addition H&W should consider extending their 'year 'end to 31st March 2023 which would be the same as Bab****s & maybe a better time to do so considering likely activity in the first qtr.
The assumptions are crude & it maybe that the Balance Sheet as at 31st December 2022 will not be as bad as I fear however for those to be talking up the SP at the present moment are in cloud cuckoo land.
I however will still be Holding hoping that we will get positive news soon.
