Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
@ faramog thanks for the reply, no nothing tongue and cheek I was genuinely curious as to where others opinions are regarding the subject.
Crowd influence, which I suppose is share volume, is also a fascinating subject and I was feeling out if there was a genuine expectation of an immediate rerate starting with the vanchem approval.
Im trying to get an explanation as to why after every incredibly good RNS we seem to suffer an inevitable drop.. will be fascinating to see what happens this time round. I feel we are incredibly close to something igniting us into a northerly trajectory but wondering what news item will be big enough.
Surely this year alone we’ve had enough amazing news?!
Thanks Uksteveg, so what we’re saying is news, good or bad, is intrinsically linked to dealing volume. Without buying volume and good news is negated and on the flip side without selling volume bad news is negated...
So the answer is we don’t know the answer as everything is quiet.
If the share price is 30p today and news is released to say, for example, we are increasing production by 30% and the share price jumps by 30% is that news then priced in? ........ 1 month later the share price is 30p again does that mean the news is now no longer priced in? The SP is not currently fair value we know that, but how do you determine what news is and isn’t priced in. Curious as to people’s thoughts..
Jogj99 couldn’t agree more there is clearly more than 100% uplift waiting (I’ve literally got everything pinned on this) my reply however was to the original post asking about 50% and 100% rises in a day... highly unlikely in my opinion ;)
You’ll see some big rises but very doubtful you will see 50% in a day. You may get a 50% week but not a day.. happy to be proven wrong.. from memory we had a couple of consecutive 20% days and a 30% day a few years ago but never a 50.. there will be a few people selling into the rises, not that they will tell you ;)
Alfa I’ve seen this debate before regarding undermine the share, same with T20’s etc... these are all tools that people use.. I like a spread bet it’s fun (no so much this time) and the amount the average PI like myself will spend on them, in my opinion, has zero effect on undermining the sp.
Like I said a bit of fun whilst I’m waiting on the core holding maturing properly, but yes it’s definitely not for everyone.
Alfa, I’ve got a core holding of just under 3 million with an average of around 5p but was having some fun with the spread bets, needless to say I’m still gutted at how they dropped it to penny perfect.Bassguy, you are using your own cash to bet the company will go one way or another. Sadly when the market goes against you you need a big margin to cover the bet.. mine emptied at 20p, all happened a tad quick.. got to laugh he says crying into his coffee lol
What do we think they are on, a 6 week extraction play? 5 million shares a week or a million a day so as not to damage the share price (by that I mean not damage it going lower - the damage to it not rising will eventually balance itself out) giving a free run from around November 15th...... Hopefully it will be sooner..... That's my 2p's worth as to what's happening ;)
