As they were quite close together may have been Bed and ISA etc Especially considering I bought 30k share at 10.75 and it is now 10.875 to buy, just on that little purchase.
Quite simple really; gold is non interest bearing so higher interest rates are bad for gold. However, there is so much debt in the world and especially the US that interest rate simply cannot go much higher
He also forgets that RL gave up in excess of £100k worth of CAI shares, which have now doubled , in exchange for KRS shares, to help facilitate the demerger.
That £8m was a late trade, ie a sell. Never mind, it can change in a heartbeat. And as regards Markyess and JimBL they are both entitled to their opinions. Don't know who is right.............. but it shouldn't get personal.
Not sure you are right re Togo being a bonus. For a start RL swapped all/most of his CAI for KRS shares. As an aside that swapping means RL has more skin in the game than just his number of shares .
