As for Abramovich, maybe the investment in AFC was more about green tech advancement than a profitable investment. Lets face it, he doesn't need to money.

Heat pumps are only a good solution with low temp heating systems. Ideally underfloor heating and high levels of insulation. If the Gov wanted to make a difference at a household level, solar PV with tax relief on income would have been a better solution in my view. Will write to the Minister if I get time.
