All doom and gloom on return from holiday - I should have stayed away another week !!

I guess now the SP has been pushed down by the market fall the shorts want to keep it down - hopefully they may now take their profit and close.

AS is still hooked up although the weather is still quite stormy with high winds and quite rough seas.

It looks like the transfer will be to Minerva Atlantica in Scapa Flo - Sullom Voe is still closed to shipping due to the wind.

Sirita is now on her way to the refinery at ****en Norway with the Alma crude - maybe around 250-300k.

Looking back in hindsight its almost as though the financial results were too good - sort of manufactured - if that's the right word ???

Anyway if they were - we have this from just last May -

Hook up is looking good - not much movement from the past track - good news that it was the super sophisticated AS this time I think !!!

Technical support - according to the charts - is 22.5p - lets see if it holds.

The reality of the global economic situation at the moment is not great - pain to come I think.

AS is in position and has been since about 4am this morning - she just needs to move forward for the hook up.

The weather is not great - it is windy but the wave height is ok.

The omens don't look good - the trouble is that is seems like a combination of things is pushing the market down - Brent is just about the only cheer we have - so I will buy my rights shares.

I am just thankful that I sold most of my CAKE shares a few weeks ago to part pay for the rights issue.

We are massively oversold now - I think the combination of the bearish trading bias resulting from the RNS on the 6th September and the general fragile state of the market has driven away most of the new investors.

The shorts are making a killing with their ALGO trading, especially those hedging the bonds - risk free immoral trading!!!

Meanwhile those of us with a long term view and the cash can continue to invest - otherwise we just wait to see what stage 2 brings.

Amundsen Spirit is continuing her slow progress towards AK - heading for a Thursday hook up.

Stena Sirita has left Lerwick Bay and is heading south east - no indication yet of a destination although she seems to be heading for Balder - if confirmed that means that the Alma load was no more than 300k.

The market didn't seem to get it again - I don't think it ever sees potential just profit.

You are basically locked in here now - unless you want to take the loss.

Luckily this situation is only temporary and even if we do take a hit with dilution the SP will rise to give you a profit at some stage but DYOR.

That is the problem - no news imminent.

The shorts are taking full advantage of the situation and with fewer investors they have the field to themselves to manipulate as they wish - this is always a problem with companies that have a low number of institutional investors - we have suffered for over a year with the same problem at ENQ.

The shorts are also hedging here with the bonds - they are probably trading the bonds in the same way as well.

The auto trades at 9.44 are the shorts using their algobot trading - they simply use a computer to trade with the aim of bringing down the SP.

Dilution isn't always bad news - apart from future dividends.

Companies need extra capital to grow - to make the pot bigger - Sirius to extra capital to build complete the project.

The problems occur if a company runs out of cash then dilution is brutal.

Two examples of companies that have experienced dilution this year - I invest in both.

CWR - my holding is up 56% in 12 months - massive investment - very bright future.

ITX - my holding is down 72% in 12 months - ran out of cash - great potential.

So a bit of dilution now to grow the company is actually quite good news.

Amundsen Spirit has reappeared from the AIS fog - she is just south of Aberdeen.

She is drifting along at around 5 knots and is on schedule for a Thursday hook up.

The weather is ok at the moment but later on Thursday and on Friday to Sunday it becomes quite stormy - so they need to stop pratting about and get on with it !!!

I would be very surprised if the SP fell to the technical support level at 22.5p - long term investors will I think continue to support the SP with continued investment.

Following successful completion of stage 2 the SP will fly - even if dilution is necessary for the extra funding.

Shorts are up a bit - opportunists taking advantage of the volatility ahead of stage 2.

But most of the shorts are I think bond holders hedging - especially the funds listed above the 0.5% threshold.

This is a great time to buy for long term holders but the SP could still drift lower - actual support is around 22.5p - the early year low.
