Yes Carrington - an opportunity to trade on this stock for a week or two. I’ve a good lump left in and small MRO proceed fund which I’ll reinvest if we go close or below £5. Very comfortable with this holding.

Thoughts on shorter influenced and profit taking (slight) pullback early next week? Took a small slice of profits today (almost timed right) - It’ll be back in my position if the fall is greater than 2.5% from current sp - good luck all and well done for sticking with this (at times) tough hold.

Hi All - dipped into this company a few weeks back. Enjoyed the best and most informative lse chat ever in addition to ‘almost at the drill sites’’ transparent info from Bo , so much so, I doubled down last week much higher than my initial position. In addition I opened up a now very profitable position in MTL as the posters have cross pollinated giving rise to an equally transparently run and exciting opportunity. They mentioned a last minute drop of AUM which were not in the results as so - due to Trumps Tariffs etc - do you think it may have been a ‘play’ to keep the shares down for buy backs and ‘expectation mgt’ - I’m hoping it was a blip which recovered quickly!

Would love to know their reasoning - share buy backs, increase 5% gdp defence spending NATO, giant order book, tariff risks low… always taken broker opinion with a pinch of salt and often suspicion.

Holders know (or maybe feel) v good news must be coming, but the SP movement here is driving me nuts! Hopefully they run up to BEG’s (hopeful) confirmation on the 8th of July will give us some traction.

Difficult to get information on current short interest levels at this moment, but it seems it’s fallen by over 15% since last month. A large order book, the business model, an extensive client base, the macro sentiment in defence spending… Can’t think what is holding this back at the moment.

Too big and complex?

Eg a curveball such as Covid or Putin doing something stupid(er)

Depends on BoE’s interest rate decision Aug 1st - prob a bigger driver than @5p divi or a (possible) steady as she goes trading statement.

Apparently lab have stated the tax on your 25% lumps is safe- too many nurses and teachers would be caught with this. Looking at market reactions all seems baked in and relatively stable (ish). Im thinking hmg want to grow the economy then they can milk it rather than destroy it in year one with tax raids. Maybe if they removed dealing tax from uk shares for starters. Also KS met with senior business leaders yesterday including Avivas AB- again they look to be consulting…

Or other ways of reading stats. Low vote turn out and only one in four votes cast were labour votes. This was a vote against the old gov rather than a call for new. This is a challenge for the new PM hence his ‘if you did not vote for me’ speech.

I heard yesterday that the service sector inflation rate was still at 6%; due to wage inflation. This and other factors including the stupid decision to pull the trigger on an early election are delaying the action. Hopefully we’ll have a august sept boost when (if) it drops then - before Novembers US election turmoil!!!
