I honestly can not see the report being anything other than positive. If the results were poor or worse why RNS the fact that you are going to issue an RNS....??

Why did the Nasdaq go up 45% after trading and why has the company kept on saying that the next move is to talk to the FDA to design Phase III....?

I do think you can be assured that at the completion of the 'four week trial' has met all end points.

We could also hear news about Phase III and possible partnerships for the DPi or MDi formulations. This is a massive year for VRP and COPD patients.

As someone who bought TRX shares when they were 22p and at one point held 900,000 shares at an average of 15.2p you can tell I was convinced by the companies future prospects 12 months ago and I'm even more convinced now. I have now averaged down massively as you would expect.

To me this is not a quick punt on the 2 o'clock at Redcar races it's the opportunity to be on board and be part of the growth of TRX. This hurdle they have get over is partly due to their own success and partly the fact that the directors have done everything at brake neck speed to establish their products in a massive market.
What is the true value of TRX ?
I'm going to say well above 20p but I would wouldn't I, already being a believer.

I've just taken a look at the after hours Nasdaq trading which closed at 8.00pm local time last night. The very last trade in that market was $9.40 which makes the uk opening on Monday 90p +++

If that is the case it's not to fanciful to propose that the share price could reach £2.00 by the close on Monday especially with more pressure from a rising Nasdaq after 2.00pm.

The time of this announcement .......
suggests nothing but good news for Monday morning as far as I'm concerned.

If the data was that bad, just chuck it out there on a Thursday morning 7.00am (UK).

Tonight's, Friday night 11.30pm (UK) RNS has been specifically chosen to allow both markets, Aim and Nasdaq to be ready to react to some positive data early doors on Monday.
I was hoping to have at least topped up with another 10k of shares before anything was announced, it now looks neigh on impossible to grab some at a lowish price as the market opens on Monday. I'll still try.

Some large trades reported after the close. I'm presuming that the one from yesterday at 1.108p is a buy. Can anyone on L2 confirm?

Monday's opening is going to be very interesting because it does seem we have turned a corner.

With all the recent buys and sells the underlying support level is now in the 1.1p to 1.18p range and until news gives us a solid direction the price will float but generally heading north...

If they show the hopes for improvement in output figures leading to higher revenues I'm sure they will be happy to share the news as soon as possible.

I am a great believer in people doing what they say thay are going to do.....
Really irks me when things are said, especially where timetables are concerned, and nothing transpires.

In the latest Proactive Investors interview with Verona Pharma chairman David Ebsworth (02-12-2019), at 5mins and 25 seconds is asked what is likely to move the share price and he states,
"We have a major clinical trial that is likely to report towards the end of the year".

We know the trial ended or was completed on the 16th December so was it likely that the data could be reported on by the end of the year?
Depends on what level of report is being suggested. Having said end of the year the company needs to report as indicated or at least say if it has been delayed.

I'm very positive on VRP but when a chairman makes such a statement he must be fully aware of the anticipation that it creates and the consequences in shareholder confidence of the company when the report does not materialise on time.

You have good reason to doubt the intentions of the board but on this occasion I think you are over thinking the negative.
If you look back and draw an arrow through all the strategic planning by VRP you can only conclude one thing and that is that this product is going to market in all three forms.

They have brought in quality personnel at each of the new appointments and todays announcement is another step along that same path.

I see it as positive and leads me to believe that the recently concluded 400 patient trial has shown enough for them to entice another biotech experienced and industry knowledgeable member to the team.

I'm looking forward to being reunited with the hard earned funds I put in here some 5 years ago, plus with profits.

Looks like the day traders got jittery and couldn't help themselves.... There is a very very good chance that TRX will sort themselves out regarding both operating capital and increased manufacturing in 2020.

Once the market gets some confidence the price will return to 5 / 7p almost on the day of that news.

The future growth of their business may mean another factory being taken on in 2021
but by then sales around £28 million pa should also be providing operating profits......... so long way to go but way higher share price than todays contrived 1.2p.

This board has again decended to the realms of a David Attenborough documentary showing to birds riding on the back of Rhino and squabbling about who owns the dam beast.........

This could be the year everything turns positive for Scancells technology and intellectual property and on day three on here it's just stupid points scoring.

This used to be a place where you could learn about Scancells immensely difficult to understand science.

I think its time to tune out until there is an RNS and hopefully we might be back to inform posts and not just spats.

Just a reminder but we should recieve a six month update during January. First patients were dosed in Jan 2019. The coming report will give follow up data at 12 months, 9 months, 6 months and 3 months.
The important point is that we will now have a much improved understanding of any continued progress in the early patients and a cleaner set of data as to the increased number of letters over time.
Not saying its pivotal but will definitely move the share price if it's all positive.

What a exciting year 2020 is set up to be.
We know it's not going to be next week but we do know that we're going to wake up one morning to some fantastic RNS's during this coming 12 months.

The past frustrations with things not going our way will all be forgotten.
The joy of 2020 will be trying to guess which game changing news is going to land first.

An early year BionTech deal, the 1st AvidiMab deal or Trial started at last...

So to anyone who is invested or just interested in Scancell 'All the Very Best for 2020'.....

I realise there won't be any new drilling going on in the Paterson Range but was unsure if there were cores that we still had not heard the details on other than Hav.

We need at least a trickle of news and updates to keep us all sane until Newcrest give us the details of at least 10 Havieron cores end of the month.
