The one caveat that makes Ensifentrine very attractive is the potential cost savings to the likes of our NHS and the medical insurance sector as it helps to maintain COPD for longer and is aimed at preventing hospitalizations. The trial also reported patients wellbeing and health showed improvements.

So VHS / Betamax analogy doesn't work if the Verona can prove that there are large potential costs savings.

Also we don't know how close they are in discussions with potential partners it's all guess work at the moment. Market traders all had this planned out well before the RNS landed.

Hell, some people have been shouting 'Fill Ya Boots' since November.

Just my penny's worth on Phase III.

I'm not sure if it would cost £120m I'll have to listen to the web cast to know what exactly was said, but, given the quality of the trial results do you honestly think Big Pharma are going to turn their collective backs on VRP.

Do me a favour, those results are like gold dust to any number of very large pharma companies that need new markets and many have the size and reach to make Ensifentrine a world brand.

First patient was treated Jan 2019 so 12 month data due very soon. Which also means that the report will contain updates on each cohort.

Looks like I've been had as well.
How can it be $9.40 on Friday night on the Nasdaq and then open at $8.15 and then drops even lower. A proper two pronged attack, I walked straight into that.
I got in at 85p at 8.00am convinced it was going to £1.50 or higher based on the quality of the RNS, the size of the COPD market and rise in the US.

Long term these shares are worth a lot more but really did think VRP would re-rate a lot higher today.

Brilliant trial news for those who are suffering with COPD. I do hope Ensifentrine gets to market as quickly as possible.

I just feel that the data is so strong that even the AIM market will recognise it. Plus the push from the Nasdaq it got to be worth £2.00 / share for starters.
Anyway it's a shame I didn't heed your shouts from the sidelines when the price was 45p.

Traders, 10%ers and day trippers non of whom are interested in the fact that this share is now on it's way towards £4 or £5 a share. The price can't go straight up there has to be sellers but this will now have positve momentum as more serious investors take a positions in the coming days and weeks.
I agree that the Nasdaq will be the catalyst this afternoon.

Happy with the shares I got this morning and well below what I thought would have to pay.

For those of us who have been here for five years plus this is exactly the news we've been waiting on.
This is just the start of the journey and as 2020 goes by confidence in the stock will rise and rise.
Possible news on partnerships for the Dry Powder Inhaler (DPi ), a trial due to confirm the effectiveness of a Metered Dose Inhaler, approval of the design of the Phase III trial by the FDA and a very possible tie up with Big Pharma to see the Nebulised form quickly into the market.

This news today could not be any better for all those who currently suffer with COPD and for those of us who may one day need some help.

Just put a buy order on the system with a limit of 90p. I'm not sure I will get any at that price but we will see in about 20 mins.

I'm expecting a minimum of £1.50 before 2.00pm and when the Nasdaq opens I expect it rise towards £2.00 by the close.

Fantastic RNS this is definitely going through Phase III and on the market where it will be recieved all over the world with open arms.

Some of us have waited a long time to see VRP come out of the shadows and start to deliver the once promised shareholder value.

So I wish everyone that is holding shares the very best for this 5.00am RNS.

I posted this back in early December but is still relevant to todays discussions.

"There is no point worrying if there will be or won't be the need to raise more funds. The issue here is can the company finance the growth in their sales until they hit break even and beyond. Its the kind of problem many expanding companies have to deal with.

The deal with MidCap can only be realised if MidCap are happy that TRX has proven that the loan will result in eventual profits and not more debt that will need more finance. So the company has to demonstrate it has control of the situation and is not just buying sales by offering large discounts or obscene sales commissions.

But TRX can also just go back to the market and raise funds through the issuing of more shares and the success of that will depend on the share price at that time.
The key here at this moment in time is this question :

"Has the increase in manufacturing and the pulling of double shifts resulted in a marked increase in sales turnover during the final quarter of 2019".

If it has then they can report the hell out of it and the SP will start to recover rapidly. They can then report January's figures in Feb and February's figures in March. With the sole aim of getting the SP as high as possible to then raise some capital.

This is a "risk to very high reward" situation but the ace card is that Tissue Regenix products are in high demand and very high regard with their customers.

My opinion of course and please do your own research".

All cleared up..... Alarm already set for 4.50am so early to bed and hope I can sleep.

So it's not cast in stone that something will be said about the trial results at 9.00pm tonight, that's my point.

Hi legalease

There is no mention of Verona Pharma in either the Keynote speeches or the Insight speeches. Also checked the VRP website and nothing there either.

What makes you think VRP will make an announcement prior to a conference they are not a part of ?

Everything points in one direction, all related decisions and appointments and recent proactive interviews all point in one direction.
All three versions of Ensifentrine are going to market and the Phase III trial is being discussed with the FDA.

No other outcome fits all of the above.
