Elc - agree. Also strange about the faux concern about the share price drifting when Prem is down 19% in the last week.
We have heard from the likes of Speedie about the possible future gold market but the news is now hitting the mainstream media.

Hi Yellowstuff,
Yes agree re the news front, it’s just frustrating waiting for it! A near 6% buy/sell spread makes it difficult for the traders to make their returns though so they can’t always be blamed for the ‘manipulation’ either.
Actually in the USA at the moment so missing the air traffic. A bit early for the air show so something else must be up.
With only 3 million shares bought/sold in 94 trades (at the time of writing) and a 5.88% spread there’s just not enough volume at the moment to drive the share price. We need real news to create demand to give us the relief from this tortuous price drift.
Everyone - LSE’s algo isn’t smart enough to determine correctly if a trade is a buy or a sell. All it does is compare the trade to the mid price at the time of execution and if it’s below, determines the trade as a sell and if above, a buy. If the trade is exactly on the mid price it’s ‘unknown’
In real life buys can be below the mid (I know as it happened to me this morning on a top up) and show as a sell and vice versa if a sell happens to take place above the mid price.
Cheers

Hi Jerry,
Your point is starting to hit the mainstream media:

I believe that under AIM rule 11 there should be a statement for a 'substantial movement in share price'. As we're down over 18% at the time of writing that's substantial in my view!
Shame they couldn't put a link to last night's podcast on the RNS. With Stu's wine assisted interpretation of the results we'd add 50% to the share price easily!
I wonder if part of the dynamic duo's response to Pershing is to request a correctly issued TR1. After all, I could write to them and state I own 6% but doesn't mean I do (thank god, with my 0.7p average!)
Would like to see the contents of the Pershing letter and who the 'exceptional value destruction' proposed Directors are so we could decide for ourselves. Doubt we'll get a chance though.
Hi MH01,
Agree, should have clarified ‘mainstream media’. Can’t fault Shaun in his communications. Quality will out, so let’s hope it gets picked up in the wider media.
Cheers

Hi TT,
Yes, let’s hope this is the start of more widespread publicity. We’ve had some time in a media vacuum. More good news should get our name out there a bit more.
Small mention in the Mail on Sunday financial section ‘Risers & Fallers of the Week’
Aim top 100 Rises - Greatland Gold +24.14% ‘mining minnow secures financing’
So do NCM for the Telfer facility
'I can’t see what GGP has except rampers.' - Have a read of a few of today's threads, you'll soon change your mind on that one!
SilverHorse, we don’t ‘all know the share would have hit 15p’ if the 5% was sold. Also it’s not Shaun’s fault NCM didn’t take up the deal.
The rest is history (already).
No problem beginner1. That statement was from the bowels of the appendix of the RNS. Let’s hope it’s an ‘oversubscribed’ statement in the morning which should hopefully put a floor on the share price.
The Bookbuild is expected to close no later than 7.30 am (London time) on 25 August 2022, being the first Business Day after date of this Announcement, but may be closed earlier or later, at the absolute discretion of the Joint Bookrunners. The Joint Bookrunners may, in agreement with the Company, accept bids that are received after the Bookbuild has closed.
What maycushion the blow down to the placing price is the shorts closing (if they do). Unless again they know more than we do there could be a lot of buying from the off. I’ve added some funds to my account tonight to see what I can get in the morning and am sure I won’t be alone
AIM999 - NCM Need to mine! it's that or mothball/decommission Telfer at great cost.
