The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Although that's only showing AstusRay as an open position

"it would be unsurprising to see Newmont consolidate the sector even further in the near future."
Bearing in mind Newmont have just completed one of the biggest mining takeovers, wonder why they need him now.
Unimaginative: I am underwater here but for me with my stock picking skills, 'opportunity cost' would probably mean losing more elsewhere!
Why are not mandating solar panels on roofs or a little wind turbine?
Watcher, in effect they are. It is very difficult to comply with the latest Building Regulations to build a house without some form of renewable energy.
This time on AIM 100 Biggest Fallers (second place). -13.39% ‘Gold price dip dents digger’
Mail on Sunday’s Riser and Fallers of the Week - AIM 100 biggest risers, Greatland Gold +15.35%, promising exploration results in Australia.
I suspect it’s as much because the ‘hot money’ has sold on news and chasing the next AIM rainbow. It will return as we near production.
NM already own Telfer.
GGP makes it into Aims ‘Risers and Fallers’ of the week again. Up 14.4% although the brief description of ‘Drilling begins at Australian gold project’ doesn’t tell the full story.
Assuming it's true, it could be a casual conversation meaning nothing really until a formal offer is made. Can't see that happening or even being considered by Shaun until the updated MRE is available.
Tig, forgive me if my memory is a little cloudy but I recall that the March MRE using the November 2021 results cut off was commissioned/published by GGP in response to Newcrests position during the 5% negotiations in that Newcrest were relying on the earlier out of date MRE.

The Newmont takeover has been agreed, the price of gold has gone up, we've presented at the Denver gold forum, the Ernest Giles land access agreement has been sorted and we've had a Hav update today.
Disaster really. What do you think?
Mothballing Hav puts the pressure on Telfer which is on the verge of being uneconomical now. The resultant additional layoff costs of staff there would make this a non runner in my view. Then there’s the Government requirement for Telfer remediation. Not sure they would let all this stand for a period of time without clean up work’s commencing but not sure of the rules.
Just can’t see it happening.
Tried to do a small spread bet long and IG are saying 'We're not accepting trades in this market, only closing trades are accepted'!
Sorry ignore that wrong share!

Toffers - Re your 14:22 post there were far fewer shares in issue at the 37p price so you can't directly compare.
Also, you seem to have lost yesterday's sympathy for the poor Newmont shareholders being hard done by with your excited £1/share mis-calculations. Greed got the better of you?
Fred 'Aweful' is spelt awful
Epic/Icelord- I hope we hear something on or before the 31st August but please note the RNS also states 'or at a later date to be agreed by the parties' so we could obviously be faced with another extension if for some reason agreement isn't reached. Fingers crossed we'll get over the line and at last, we can move on from there.
