The GGP update today concentrated on the Telfer mine & gold production since it's its purchase from Newmont in December. Nothing to do with Haverion.

Hi Gallmat, I took a small punt on Rockfire Resources (ROCK) a month ago. They have a zinc/lead/germanium discovery in Greece. It’s early days yet for them and may be worth a look.

JC- the 'unknown' trades are marked as such because the trade was made at the mid price so the algo can't determine if it's a buy or sell. Apart from this, a buy can be made below mid price and then be listed as a sell.

The whole system is notoriously unreliable and is best seen as trades only. For every sale someone is buying and vice versa.

That and the 15% buy/sell spread

Bloomers, not a problem. On the houses we built damp was't a problem - it's a question of correct ventilation.

What is the problem as you also noted is getting adequate power to site. We had a couple of developments delayed as the network operators couldn't guarantee they could supply adequate power to the development.

On the solar panel front, you can also have too many! The networks can't cope with too much energy 'back into'the grid. This seems less likely using air sourced heat pumps that would take the majority of energy generated but the operators calculations are very conservative and assume a higher rate of return than I think actually happens.

Bloomer, there are ventilation requirements too among a host of other things but enough from me. As I said I stumbled across this conversation.

Dorian, stumbled across this conversation. I'm recently retired from a regional privately owned property developer.

The increasingly onerous Building Regulations requirements essentially steer developers into installing solar panels, heat pumps,high levels of insulation (5 inch cavity wall fully filled insulation) etc. The houses even have to go through an air test to prove there is no air leakage to retain the heat. Although heat pumps aren't mandated, it is almost impossible to achieve the required energy requirements using gas boilers.

Having said that, some local councils (mine is one of them) won't consider an application unless the property is heated using air source heat pumps.

According to a post on Telegram, an email from Shaun confirms it won’t be streamed but he will be there to answer any questions from attendees.

It should be a straightforward resolution of the votes cast against the proposals and I presume there will be an RNS after confirming the results officially.

Speaking personally, one month retired at 63, it would have been handy but not critical to be in a position to cash in some shares soon but only being a four year investor, my average is somewhat higher than our new share price. I can also, unfortunately remember a small (thank god!) top up at 37p! At my age it may be that the real benefit may get handed down to my nearest and dearest unless our superstar board can really pull their fingers out. Here’s hoping.

I would also like to add my thanks to Bamps , Dipp and the selfless others who add their research and knowledge. I know a lot more about the intricacies of mining than I did a few years ago.

Agreed but let’s not forget that we have also taken on the decommissioning costs for Telfer, no matter how far in the future that is and will be a nice sum off of NM books.
