Evening, just seen your posts in the early hours of this morning. I have said in the last couple of weeks that the one positive of selling in recent months is pretty well explained by the goings on at City Financial which have been known in the industry for many months prior to Ineer Harmony advising us of the latest developments. Why is it a positive?.............well for many monthe we have seen this constant selling down and the figures you quoted covering UBS, City Financial and even L @ G certainly seem to explain that volume, not something we can attach to being Scancells fault, but a consequence of the financial mess at City Financial. I said a few times i would love to go to the Share Registry office to dig further, unfortunately i just can"t.
As i experienced a couple of years ago seeing the sells by another ii, it just surprised me to see amounts of 15k, 25k being common trades, not just the 100k,150k or even 200k ones we have seen regularly so cannot say with any certainty sells have dried up from those sources, but the trades we are seeing and volumes do not come over obviously as a ""mass sell off"" compared to what we have seen, and arguably suggest at the current SP the majority are not inclined to sell at this M/Cap.
As ever, time will tell, we know certain news releases are due, and the ones we hope for are definately not to be ruled out. I do think Scancell know only too well what news will support the SP, hence the seeming lack of urgency in responding to our SP decline. One thing i have certainly learnt in the past few years is the disconnect between the SP and IP, and as crumbs says we have never truly been valued, which should make for an interesting re-rate when news comes, if it comes, will drive the SP higher.
What has come over quite clearly is for some voicing an opinion, consistant to wanting the share price down, whilst still mainting their belief that our potential will be fulfilled in the passage of time. For us LTH"s the weeks ahead should be very interesting, I did post up the Interim Results again yesterday, worth looking at and taking into account a few one off items which were paid, which IMHO depending on any changes to the companys stratagy do not suggest by April or May we need more funding. In fact without any news in that respect, IMHO the possibilities for non dilutive funding still exist and might just be another factor where news will be scarce on that topic, and can only be RNSed upon conclusion. Yes, in retrospect our hopes for that news were indeed premature looking back, but is there anybody that doesn"t feel we have never been better positioned for a deal to happen on more than just one platform??? Disappointed i did a big top up in the 7s, without any idea of City and Financials plight, c"est la vie. Everything in retrospect is different, just surprised many of us who are pretty well researched missed that googly.
Till tomorrow
