The safety data relates to SCOV1. How likely is it then, with that in mind, that the same will apply to SCOV2?

Is it highly likely, SCOV1 data to date has no bearing on SCOV2 data, or somewhere in between?

I don’t see it as a “lame excuse” at all. It would be the same as saying the delay in FPD for Modi-1 is also a lame excuse. Or maybe the shortage of bog roll was also underpinned by a lame excuse.

This is all imo of course and recognise everyone sees things differently.

“ Due to the high case numbers of the Omicron variant in South Africa, recruitment has been slow but now the country's wave has passed, the Company anticipates recruitment of subjects will speed up again and safety and immunogenicity data is still expected to be available in H1 2022”.

So I guess anyone reading would either believe in that statement, or not.

Whilst I agree something SP busting is unlikely, I am, reasonably I believe, hoping for something more than “fairly positive!” :-)

TF - surely no one is bothered by what Cliff said in Jan 21, when in Oct 21 Lindy gave this update:

Additionally, we are advancing our unique pipeline of anti-TaG antibodies with the initial aim of generating early stage clinical data, either alone or in combination with strategic partners. I think it’s any change in that, that we are hoping for. Material change over a re-write.

Very satisfactory. COVID testing is not going away anytime soon but clearly EKF are also strategically diversifying their service offerings to increase the number of revenue streams. All good imo.
