Just re-reading the most recent Covidity RNS from 3 weeks ago. This caught my eye.

“The Scancell team and collaborators remain convinced that a more durable and broader-acting vaccine is required to combat the global pandemic and we are encouraged by the emerging data supporting the use of our vaccines against new variants."

The word “collaborators” interests me. Note the plural. So assume one must be the SA Lung Institute, maybe Cobra Bio another, maybe also UK Government, maybe others not so obvious?? Maybe I read too much into the use of the word!

On the topic of new news.

If you check the Scancell website, you can see how many Posts / News Articles (RNS & non-RNS) have been made on an annual basis. Goes back to 2015 but here are the most recent:

2019: 47
2020: 30
2021: 19
2022: 2

Everyone will have their own take on that of course but something is needed to mask that awful pin-dropping noise. Fingers crossed it will be a blockbuster Feb/March.

Thoughts on any significance of the counter at the top of the CEPI article? 22 days is early March if I’m reading it correctly. I realise it’s related to 100 days but has it just been counting a block of 100 days and then resetting, or is something expected in March?

However, I was simply correcting your 07:29 “no bloody trials running”. Your words.

Incorrect. There are 2 trials running. Regardless of their status and anyone’s personal view of that status.

AB - isn’t it a fact that 2x trials ARE running?
