Hi Violin. Thought we were discussing Modi-1 (subject line) but now that you’ve moved to Covidity, I believe recent RNS state H2 for some data, not H1. Also, we don’t know the recruitment issue has been resolved - even though the candidate selection criteria has changed. We hope so but we don’t know that.

Personally I don’t believe there was any attempt to mislead in interview. I accept the separate point, that providing subsequent updates on something said previously, is desirable. However, there may also be reason(s) for the radio silence, some of which have led to speculation on this board.

It is the statement about being misleading that I don’t align to but of course, understand others may feel differently.

Violin - you don’t believe anything can change to alter the course, outside of her control? Have you for example ever told someone you’d be somewhere at a certain time but something unexpected made you late? Would that person think they were misled?

SG - I was also thinking that.

The conclusion written is also v encouraging:

AB - not sure I’d go along with either something to hide, or a lack of respect for shareholders. Yes, I’d agree newsflow isn’t much more than a dribble right now but that can and I expect will change given patience. The response I expect to that, will be along the lines of “we’ve been hearing that for 10 years” but I don’t believe that retort aligns to the post Redmile investment period and comparing what was happening 3, 5 or 10 years ago isn’t the way to think.

Interims were just a few weeks back and within the Outlook section - “ The Directors believe that the Company is well-funded and its diverse pipeline, based upon its proprietary platforms, is on track to deliver multiple value inflection points over the next 18 months.”

So an investor in Scancell either believes in that timeline and acknowledges that, or they don’t.
