Number recruited to trial hasn’t been a topic of conversation on here for a while. Still shows “Recruiting” at the link below but actually, many of the Phase 1 vaccine candidates haven’t even reached that stage after many, many months. I’ll admit I dip-checked but beginning to wonder how accurate the data actually is. Does anyone have a view on this other than we might find out more on 26th?

A little surprised no Trading Update out yet. Has to be imminent. Am expecting something in the blockbuster category.

Perhaps they were cardboard trades.

It’s interesting to look back at the Final Results RNS to end of Apr 21, issued in Oct 21 and consider how Lindy’s closing statement might change.

“ We have achieved a lot in this transformational year for Scancell; strengthening the Group's cash position and accelerating the progress of our novel cancer and COVID-19 vaccines into the clinic. We have recently initiated our COVIDITY programme, which aims to develop a next generation, DNA-based COVID-19 vaccine, which we believe may have advantages over current mRNA-based vaccines, and we look forward to reporting safety and immunogenicity data during H1 2022. We have also progressed development of Modi-1, the first candidate arising from our Moditope® platform, and look forward to the first patients being dosed in our Phase 1/2 clinical trial shortly. Additionally, we are advancing our unique pipeline of anti-TaG antibodies with the initial aim of generating early stage clinical data, either alone or in combination with strategic partners. I am excited at what the future holds for the Group and we look forward to making further progress over the coming year."

Will it be light on material changes and essentially a re-word, or could something be included that indicates a flame near the blue touchpaper??

Trading update last year on 12th Jan and so would think another incoming this month. Given acquisitions last year, will be very interesting to see.

What I particularly like about this latest publicity, is that we’re sat alongside the likes of BT and Marks & Spencer in the context of the complete article. Whatever you think of them, hard to argue that they are not household names / giants in their respective industries. For me that in itself elevates the profile of Scancell and potentially opens the eyes of folks who might not necessarily read a Bio / medical biased piece of journalism. In addition, the photo is a cherry on the top given not all others in the list have one to compliment the text. Exciting stuff. All IMO of course………

As well as Scancell, I’ve been buying stocks in Beef, Chicken & Vegetables all through this year. This time next year I’m hoping to be a Bouillonaire!
