Perhaps it’s simply down to the way the RNS is constructed. I’ll go and have a lie down 😂

Still can’t get my head around what was said in yesterday’s RNS re the poster presented at ASCO.

“We were also overwhelmed by the interest in the poster, which is the most significant response I have seen in my career."

Didn’t the poster only contain the info on the first 13 patients? Given that data had been in circulation for many months and also presented elsewhere, more than once I believe, why the sudden explosion of interest in the poster? I’d find it hard to believe it could be solely down to who is in attendance but could be wrong.

Perhaps someone could put me out of my misery!

Yes, makes sense if its unpublished data but seen by the chosen few.

The interesting thing for me is we know the ASCO poster was the 13 patients / 85% ORR ie. data that had already been in circulation for months and presented elsewhere. There was much discussion here about “old” data.

So what has changed to suddenly excite industry heavyweights and secure their ongoing support for trials? What were they talking about for 3 hours? Something doesn’t add up!

“The panel felt that the data was compelling enough to proceed to the Phase 2/3 randomised registration study upon the completion of the SCOPE study”

Makes me wonder exactly what data they were privy to, perhaps with confidentiality / NDAs attached. Just what we know, or significantly more than that? High percentage of patients recruited after all.

Reasonable to think the Trading Update will land next week.

Aside from the actual RNS date though, I’m expecting it to contain a decent level of detail on period performance, that is also forward looking and signposts the coming months ie. what the market likes to see.

So not a woolly update, meat on the bones is expected (like July 2023) and at current SP level, enough to catapult this into mid-50s for a sustained period.

Really, we need Scinv to stick around to help Lindy calculate the ORR.

Cheers Chester. Your response makes a distinction between dosed and scanned.

Well, we’re ticking through Q3 now. I wonder how many of the 43 patients have been dosed to this point in time. Given we know the first patient was dosed 4 months ago, I would guess over 30% given the combination of the broader patient selection pool and opening of trial locations.

Fascinating and super exciting to speculate on the progress of this cohort and imo a very good chance that Q4 (as communicated) could bring a a major inflection point for investors here.

Suspect Scancell's progress will be driven exclusively by themselves and their current backers.

Still someone sizeable sells being slipped in, so don’t think we can be confident who is or isn’t selling.

Good week for both Scancell & Investors and a very promising start to H2.

- a seat on the board for Redmile and a man respected in his industry.

- major newspaper (print & online) shining direct light on Scancell and no doubt attracting some of the buys we’ve seen this week.

Cleaner - yes LD did say that in June but it was June 2023 ie. now we’ll over 12 months ago.

What JB1 is pointing out is what the far more recent RNS on 2nd July 2024 states ie. the change in the terms of the CLNs and why that might have happened.

Very old news reported in a newspaper v. very up to date news via RNS basically.

Would think Scancell’s guns would be firing at the ICI Conference in early Sept. Two part abstract submission dates, the latter of which is July 30th. So another opportunity on the horizon to share products and progress at a global, prestigious industry event and secure interest (and hopefully a lot more) from attendees. Attendance was RNS’d last year (3x posters).
