Well here we are in Q4, an earnings enhancing and profitable acquisitionshas landed and in the area of the business I expected + the share buyback programme. Further acquisitions likely to come imo and so buy & build strategy in evidence.

No doubt there will be some here who don’t like the acquisition. I do.

Ruck - it was totally clear in my post that I wasn’t suggesting Scancell were in the list of collaborators at this stage of the project.

Yep that’s the position now but perfectly reasonable I believe, to suggest that the project is very much in its infancy and the network of collaborations will extend as it progresses. Will that include any relationship with Scancell? Who knows. Be interesting to know any response you received from the Company EE, if you are willing to share.

EE - seems you have made up your mind that the 12 mentioned in the quote below, cannot include Scancell?

I am not suggesting Scancell ARE part of the overall project but without knowing who the 12 are, don't see how it can be so easily dismissed as a possibility.

Get the points but not press that should be spun negatively imo. No one here knows whether Scancell are, or have been, involved in some way.

Absolutely nothing at all to do with what Scancell are, or are not doing.

IMO.

Debatable whether the fact it is one month early compared to the last 2 years, is significant. Perhaps purely an administrative decision, or maybe some special resolutions that require a vote 😉. Regardlesss, the fact it is a few weeks earlier than usual, means we are not kept waiting and there will at the very least be an opportunity for Q&A for all.

Amongst all the speculation, here is something Scancell related and is actually happening………..today.

Vaccines & Immunotherapies Online Symposium taking place virtually on Thursday, 26 September.

Samantha Paston, Head of Translational Research, will be presenting.

Title: Phase 2 clinical trial, a DNA cancer vaccine, SCIB1, in patients with advanced unresectable melanoma receiving nivolumab + ipilimumab

Time: 4.20pm BST

The “drag” is that enough data to convince the market of what Scancell have in their cancer armoury hasn’t yet been published but we all know what the timeframe is for that. The “drag” on the SP is absolutely nothing to do with funding imo.

Transparent statement and of course without any mab related income.
