Yes there are many companies struggling and for historic reasons. But to say there is a recession, when news as recent as today states the opposite, is clearly misleading and incorrect.

Modi was championed as the biggest jewel in Scancell’s crown, before that sentiment shifted to SCIB1/iSCIB1+.

FWIW, I expect the bias to swing back towards Modi in the not too distant future.

Hi Mia. I did also think of that scenario too but can see pros & cons of both communication strategies. I guess it will come down to what data is available and when, together with what it looks like from both cohorts. It was just a theory and 6 months isn’t long to wait regardless.

Back on 26th March, we were told recruitment into the iSCIB1+ cohort was expected to be complete by the end of Q3 2024 and that data from that cohort was expected in Q4 2024. Then in the RNS on 24th July we were told the iSCIB1+ data would be published in Q1 2025 ie. slippage of the timeframe. Also applicable to SCIB1, with early data now expected in Q4 2024, not Q3 this year.

I’ve been wondering if things will actually play out that way, given that the expectation is that iSCIB1+ will produce superior data and also that we already know (from the same 24th July update), that the recruitment into the iSCIB1+ cohort, was rapidly catching up with the SCIB1 leg and may actually overtake it - 22/43 v. 32/43.

Perhaps there is a scenario where the data from both cohorts will be released at the same time but the headline is iSCIB1+ to make maximum impact, rather than SCIB1 followed shortly after by iSCIB1+. Guess we will see if that theory proves accurate, within the next 6 months.

Everything I have here is tucked away in my S&S ISA. I did have a block outside of an ISA wrapper but sold those at a decent profit to avoid any CGT implications.

With the greatest respect for the folks previously in key positions and their groundwork & positive achievements in moving the company forward, the breadth of high quality of the team now assembled at Scancell’s top table, has become different gravy. This direction of travel re recruitment, has been happening in front of our eyes for some time now and these highly regarded professionals are packing their bags to join Scancell because they absolutely believe the future prospects here are enormous and want to be part of that journey.

In that context, yes I’d agree but “small scale” makes it sound insignificant and it may not be.

I’m not keeping count but would a few million shares be considered small scale?
