From our RNS 24th Feb 2021:
Successful implementation of saliva testing of AstraZeneca staff using the genesig® COVID-19 assay
In early 2020, AstraZeneca set up an internal programme of voluntary SARS-CoV-2 testing for asymptomatic employees in the UK and Sweden using Novacyt's genesig® COVID-19 test. By February 2021, approximately 70,000 SARS-CoV-2 PCR tests had been completed within AstraZeneca's internal global testing centres, of which 54,000 are based on saliva swabs. Following the introduction of saliva testing, adoption by employees increased approximately four-fold and over 90% of 1,062 employees surveyed expressed a preference for the change from the typical oropharyngeal (throat) or nasopharyngeal (nasal) swabs. The study highlights the 90% uptake of saliva testing for asymptomatic patients and the excellent detection rates of 0.33 copies of whole viral genome RNA/µL, sensitivity of =95% and 100% specificity.9 These result shows how PCR testing can be used for asymptomatic mass-testing.
ReCoVa-19 has helped build a mobile laboratory which is able to test for Covid-19 at live events using the company’s own 30-minute testing technology.
The vehicle is the result of a collaboration between Novacyt, a PCR test manufacturer based in Camberley, Surrey, Sandwich-based Wren Healthcare which delivers patient support services and is led by nurses, and Milton-based Cambridge Clinical Laboratories.
“ReCoVa-19 started last May,” says director Clive Minihan. “If you have a Covid-19 test in Boots you’re using our software, as are Well Pharmacy, CityDoc... we’re in 45 locations across the UK.”

Covid-19 travel plan will let new variants into the UK
May 12, 2021
Covid-19 is likely to be endemic globally for the foreseeable future and mathematical modelling scenarios predict potential for a further UK surge of infections later this year.
The All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on coronavirus has identified long queues at airports, failure to separate arrivals from red and amber countries, and fake covid-19 test certificates as significant risks to biosecurity.
Transmission from asymptomatic travellers may also occur for several days after arrival. Indeed, there are a number of reports of importation of infections from India, despite negative testing prior to boarding.
In the UK, border controls are porous. This reflects the political unwillingness to impose stringent controls from early in the pandemic, as well as the inadequate public health measures which have been put in place, for example, the sensitivity and reliability of lateral flow tests; the time and logistics required for more sensitive PCR tests; a large number of exemptions from quarantine, and poor support for those needing to self-isolate or quarantine.

Agreed.
The "Funds" tab seems to have a total that has NOT changed much, and if you scroll over to the right you will notice some .
of these positions have not changed or been updated for months
The "Institutions" tab seems to have a total that has NOT changed much, and if you scroll over to the right you will notice ALL of these positions have "supposedly" been updated.
Perhaps take these positions with a pinch of salt?

RNS 14th May 20: Final results for the year ended 31 December 2019 and outlook for 2020
RNS: 30th Jun 20: Publication of Annual Report
So as last year could we be surprised and have some time in next few weeks a:
Final results for the year ended 31 December 2020 and outlook for 2021
and then followed by in June as mentioned last week:
RNS: 22nd Apr 21: Company now intends to report its audited financial results for the year ended 31 December 2020 on 29 June 2021.
My in-laws were vaccinated in Dec (1st dose) & Mar (2nd dose), assuming they will need Aug/Sep (3rd dose or Booster), do they start a new Vaccination round again next December?
This I believe will be different as it needs to fight all known variants as opposed to the original (or Basic) one given before.

Ecolog was originally intended to be one of the partner brought online to meet the Test and Trace capacity targets. As part of HM Government emergency response to the Covid-19 pandemic emergency, Test and Trace entered into a Letter of Intent with Ecolog in September 2020. This Letter enabled Ecolog to mobilise and equip laboratory units to provide diagnostic (RT-PCR) testing for COVID-19 to meet targets for numbers of tests performed. As the programme progressed, HMG decided not to proceed with the Services Agreement with Ecolog; this Deed of Settlement was signed to discharge all obligations under the Letter of Intent and reimburse Ecolog for costs incurred. The costs relate to the costs of equipment delivered, laboratory tests undertaken pending the execution of the contract and mobilisation costs. This notice relates to the Deed of Settlement concluded between the parties after some services and equipment had been provided by Ecolog.
