Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
New here so forgive me if I’m not reading things right yet. Done my preliminary research and may well be buying in shortly. In the interims nav includes 300m of intangibles. Stripping those out gives a tangible Nav that about equals today’s MCap. Apart from obvious attraction of the div what else would push the sp significantly higher in the medium term?
Wassatt and Tosh both fair comments. PI is definitely at the bottom of the pile. There are some good companies on AIM but the majority are just looking for another way to convince the punters to put more money in to find their lifestyles. And whatever is said on these boards it will never move the sp one way or the other. The MMs control the SP and will take it to wherever they think the safest volume is. Meanwhile all we can do is try and second guess it and make a bob or two. PIs sticking together and helping each other doesn’t just mean all cheering on the latest ramp. There’s much to be wary of on AIM and we need the ‘glass half empty’ board members to keep us from getting carried away and believing the hype. It’s the companies and the MMs we are up against, not each other. I’ve been on this board a few years now. What attracts me to WSG is that the sp is consistently sensitive to RNSs which presents trading opportunities. Many companies hardly move despite significant news flows.
Tosh, don’t we all. Winding people up is all part of the fun and many on here set themselves up for a good wind up. I’m as guilty as any. But when it just becomes an exchange of personal insults it’s not fun anymore. And it’s a sign that there is no good response other than to call them names. Behind every username is a real person and we should all remember that.
Yes waterdragon. I remember. I also remember that they killed PC Yvonne Fletcher and that they have executed 3 child offenders so far this year and they have flogged a young man 80 times for drinking alcohol as a child and they are jailing teenage girls for dancing. Attaboy hey! Yes they’ll stand up to the yanks for us.
Welcome on board. I hope your username isn’t an omen...
Excellent volume already today. Gives the big sellers a chance to clear out. Brings new holders in. All looking good.
My post from a week ago when the sp was below 9: “Now could well be a good time to be topping up. If cash burn in the first 4 months of this financial year is anything to go by there will need to be a fundraise by mid October. That will need some positive news flow to get the sp back above nominal.“ Met with the usual derision and insults from the usual suspects. And the usual false claims about being in profit. No need for an apology but perhaps use this as a learning experience and hold back a bit on the personal insults just because a post doesn’t fit with your agenda. You know who you are.
Very helpful all contributions today. I have also added.
The 5m warrants with an exercise price of 20p that the Chair bought yesterday expire in 18 months so it may not be news next week but it’s not going to be long. Ask yourself. Why would anyone buy paper that is worthless until the so gets over 20p. I’ll be buying more this morning.
Mike, that makes a lot of sense. The unelected hardliners are in the ascendancy in Iran. The protests on the streets aren’t calling for democracy any more, they want jobs and food and the hardliners promise them that. ‘Satan’ is playing into their hands. The elected government are increasingly unpopular as the currency plummets.
All the trades were buys today except the 150,000 at 6.55 I reckon
I don’t think you will regret that Craig.
