Indeed another poster on here clearly refers to my £ 2 40 prediction near the end of December, saying double forfeit for char333 if vod SP hits £2 40 before end of 2017, as vod SP was near to £2 36.

I was hoping for �26 , but currently seems to have stalled. its enjoyed a great run and I sup[pose it cant run on forever. maybe on day of results it may hit �26. depends where shell sp is on day before results though, gla + atb.

vod sp now looking attractive buy around � 220 , as historically that is a decent price. sentiment now looks down. over on the advfn Vodafone site many people stating markets rigged as this as weekly decent news yet goes down . many state markets rigged. of course markets are rigged. name any top organisation in Britain that isn't corrupt, they should get real. as I keep stating , time + again while the fallout of brexit continues, I believe that will be detrimental to vod sp. sterling doing really well lately and Vodafone pays divi in euros. so a fall seems certain. or is that too simple. as ive stated I believe vod sp wont make � 2 40 this year. time will tell. I believe in april time the vod india tie up will go through. then according to some liberty will come calling as all loose ends have been tied up. time will tell. if share goes up on the !st then maybe a run up to � 2 36 to �2 38 may well be on the cards. if it goes down , then � 2 08ish looks a certainty. the dow keeps rushing up, but when that runs ends surely the crap will hit the fan. history tells you that it cant keep going at that pace. markets go up to go down, but lets hope we can make a small profit before that surely occurs. if divi holds up, then its still a great share to hold for the long haul. Vodafone upped their profit forecast for this period so that should help keep divi rising for the short term. divi in two weeks. hooray. gla + alb.

Vod next results update 1st Feb. That will probably ditate the vod s p direction. Let's hope it stays in the £2 30 range till then, but I have my doubts, as always. 1 month till Divi, lovely jubley. Gla + ATB.

I think brokers are on the dutch courage throughout the year if you ask me. , judged on their forecasts. . happy new year danieth + all fellow Vodafone shareholders. wonder what 2018 will hold for vod sp. lets hope for a new year rally.

well Barclays, like all brokers , like the British press , have the pereogotive to change their mind + pluck a number from thin air. Take a look at broker forecasts for vod sp over the last 2 years. The vast majority way out. £2 60 to £3 for vod. I go back to history + the highest vod sp as been in 3 years is £2 58, achieved in may 2015. When having gone down more than 8p on the full years results it then zoomed up for 3 days when the asset swops with liberty were announced, which came to most. It may of been the liberty Dutch deal, but either way , vod sp as only it the heights on bid speculation. While the vast majority of news regarding Vodafone as been really encouraging the proof is in the pudding as they say, so in my opinion Barclays are jumping on the bandwagon of broker prediction's which so far in the main have been, to say the least laughable. Well vod sp goes ex dividend tomorrow, so down by 4p at the open. That's around £2 25. I feel that will be a long long long 15p to £2 40. Let's hope I'm wrong + we see a Xmas rally or new year rally. No doubt , company's like quester + the like will chose Vodafone as 1 of their stock picks for 2018. But we seen all that stuff before only to be disappointed in the long run. I think Dow Jones as had 57 or more record closing highs this year, only trouble telecommunications worst performing sector on Dow.
