Yes , I believe the saying if buy the rumour, sell the fact. I made a decent profit by selling before the deal happened. It was the reason I 1st bought Vodafone. The 2nd was the liberty rumours. Well u can't win them all. Gla + ATB.

broker ratings , its other people on here quoting broker ratings. I told you 2 years ago when they quoted �3 that they didn't have a clue + was I right. I'm not negative , just a realist. check vod sp over last 3 years , and as I quote it as only gone past � 2 40 + when takeover crap, that surely is as false as broker forecast as it gone past that price + the verizion windfall. hahaha not. unlike many on here they just stick their head up their hole + try to gang up on someone who as a less positive opinion to them. ive nearly broke even with the next divi, but need � 2 50 to get out now. I wont hold my breath. as for BUY , well that's for the divi. This wont make � 2 40 by end of 2018 , lets see, as I always say , its odd how many times I'm proved right on just gut feeling + those thick brokers are nearly always wrong. gla + atb . it will go ex divi on thurs , so theres another 4p to find. lets see.

I find when brokers , day in day out, raise stocks prices higher with a buy, hold , or out perform, that share price goes up 2 , to 6 % usaully. But when vod sp as broker buy or outperform given by brokers it goes up 1 p or 2p + by the end of the day it's back where it started. The market makers just don't buy it, literally. So history tells me why believe it this time. Nice to see vod sp holding around £2 30. But a big push on I doubt. As I keep saying , telecommunications out of favour on Dow Jones + this share as only hit the heights when crap takeover talk as played it's part. Or when the Verizon deal (joke) was done. Hi danieth, well I'd settle for that to, but I'm a realist. It's my recollection that vod sp as only hit £2 50 + above when there's been takeover talk (crap) or when the Verizon deal occurred. Vod as gUD results vod sp goes up then slips back , but hopefully this time it won't.. Nice to see another little rise so far today. Gla + ATB.

£2 50 + positive. Probably get neither any time soon. I believe you have to live in the real world. Scores + scores of brokers have predicted vod sp £3 in the last 3 years. They know bestt. Where are they now. Nowhere to be seen . Every government in the history of the world are corrupt as hell.

Hi spikeyj, if the brexit continues to be the mess it is , then the free will sell off + no matter how well Vodafone or others are doing, ultimately the share will go down. This brexit is a complete in + in the hands of idiots. Imo. Hope I'm wrong , as always. Gla + ATB .

Hi spikey, yes I'll be happy to be proved wrong, but I'm Vodafone terms + recent history , a 11p rise is still some way off imo. This brexit is a complete mess. That's gonna make a huge impact 2 footsie when this stuff hits the fan. Just because UK is not huge in the Vodafone empire, if the FTSE sells off big time Vodafone sp will not be immune. Time will tell.plus will go ex Divi + drop 4p. Next week.

Well what a surprise, not. That rally last long. Like I predicted b4 , vod sp to go up 5 to 6 p on Tuesday after good results. Then the markets sell off 5% or more + vod s p trickles back down to £ 2 08 0r lower. Plz don't mention Maloney baloney. Their is no liberty deal on the horizon. You can only cry wolf so many times, before people realise it's crap. I have said + will reiterate vod will not hit £2 35 by the end of 2018. Sods law will always prevail in vod's case. As always I hope I'm hugely wrong , but you know my record. Vod doing innovative + good IT work to capture subscribers. Vod produces good results but telecommunications shares not in favour. That's the problem with vod paying the Divi in Euros, what with brexit bullsh,t changing on a daily basis.the £s position. And the pound verses the euro, a yo-yo share price seems, somewhat a certainty. Gla + ATB. Not long to the results on 14th .

Here's my next prediction. Vodafone to have a decent set of results. Vod sp to enjoy a 6p rise. Maybe a little more. Then the big sell off in America will come + the markets will sell off probably around 6% to 8% and though vod sp will show some resistance, it will then fall back to around £2 o5 or thereabouts. I hope Im wrong but again sods law will prevail. Hope I'm wrong, but this is just my gut feeling, as always, I hope I'm wrong. Gla + ATB.
