this site makes me laugh. never in all my years have I heard so much crap from chancers , romancers, head up my backsiders, self deluded. lets be clear . everyone is entitled to their own opinions, wether based on fact , fiction, data, charts or my own rule of thumb , gut feeling ie sods law. moaner in my opinion is 100% spot on. this isn't going up for the dividend, a little from here maybe. but to many people on here just make positive predictions that simple make me laugh. last weeks THIS WONT GO DOWN NEXT WEEK , being a prime example. as you are no doubt aware I have made several predictions over the last 4 years , because in the main their negative people don't like it.. I call it realism. well all made on just gut feeling + though I say it myself or as DANIETH so superbly put it I have a unbelievable + annoying habit of being right. you all laughed when I told you brokers forecast + thicko anaylysts know jack. you all laughed when I told you their is no � 3 � 2 90 , �280 + so on. indeed my prediction made last September I think that this wouldn't make � 2 40 upto last new year + this next new year was derided. well your not laughing now are we. i have no problem with how people come to their opinions, good luck with them, but far too many on here just keep saying its gonna go up because they cant cope with the recent fall. fact is i hate it too, buts that's the reality , SODS LAW. VODAFONE ALWAYS AS MORE THAN DECENT RESULTS , BUT WITH VICTOR GOING , sods law PREVAILED, down it went then stock market went to highest its ever been. well its goes up to go down. plus MOODYS DOWNGRADE didn't help. then the DIXONS news today not gonna help telecoms is it . theres 2 ways it can go for vod sp . its going down 9p next week on ex divi day, fact. then well its simple , will the next divi be retained. i hope for all the people who are buying for the divi + the next get lucky. warren buffet always says history tells you buying shares just for the divi dosent work. well i think hes right up to a point. i think it was Gerry 777 who bought DIXONS a few months back + i remarked he as more balls than me . its not nice seeing the value of your shares going down , day in day out. but that's our reality right now. i sold my holding in shell + got back in here. big mistake, as shell ran on + on. not sure if the fall is due to the rumour the queen + prince Philip have bought �50 00o worth of Vodafone shares as a wedding present for the mr + mrs ginger .. not a great way to start wedded life. looks like the honeymoon is over for us Vodafone shareholders in all seriousness. if we don't laugh we'll cry.

Royal wedding, I'd say theirs more chance of Vodafone share price going to £2 40 this year than that pair staying together for 5 years. Oh well it's something for all them people to do on a Saturday afternoon.Back to vod sp , ask yourself this, where are all them thicko brokers + analysts today who predicted £2 60, £2 70, £2 80 + above. My prediction that Vodafone sp wouldn't reach £ 2 40 by year end looks a very good bet nearly 5 months in. Yet 7 months is a long long long time.Yet again it would be nice to flash forward 6 months, but how many times have I said that.

Glad things were ok for you daneith + the share price of £2 o9 was not a disaster for you. I have topped up my holding , mainly as a dividend play for now. Later in the year, October , November could see vod sp at better levels. If Victor is off in October it will take a while to see if things are different under the new guy.results again seem v good, but as ever with Vodafone there was a sting in the tail. Well that's a relief!!! Seems the Divi is good for a few years yet. May top up more before results. No rights issue as well. Yippee. May get a run up to £2 23ish I hope Gla + ATB.

174, perhaps it's a sign of the liberty deal, rights issue price. Nearly had kittens when I saw it. How does this happen. Just over 1 week till results. I think liberty results next week, so the deal should be out in the open. Hoping , praying, fingers crossed , gla + ATB.

Apparently the motley Fool as predicted Vodafone s p will outperform the footsie 100 this year.if I had a £ for everytime they have made wild predictions the opposite happens. I gonna make my own mistakes regarding vod s p come what may . Gla + ATB.

This is , in my view, a dicey time to be getting in. The liberty deal, if it's true will need to be funded somehow, so could be a rights issue. Which initiaiiy may send the vod sp North. But imo vod sp would then fall back to issue price. Maybe a dividend cut to fund liberty assets. Let's hope none of that happens and it's just conjecture. They say fortune favours the brave. There's a post on the adfvn vod message board , quoting a "times" article saying Vodafone MAY cut the Divi by 20% to pay for the 5g spectrum. I think the word is may. If I had a £1 for every time someone in the stock market states , may , might, could , if. . Pure conjecture at present. Roll on 15 th may , so all will be known.

Oh I didn't know that. I thought he would have his hands full steering Vodafone to calmer waters. You would think he would be fully committed to the liberty assets deals + other vod concerns.
