But just my guess. Could be a huge buying opportunity at lower levels. Going forward, someone somewhere has decided to put the 2 bonkers blonde baffoons in charge both side of the pond. May be time to put your name down for live on the moon. Though to be fair the yank as pushed the USA indices to record highs. Come what may, it will be a roller coaster & not for the faint hearted. My brother is 100% certain shell will be £27 come July, come what may. Me, I'm 99.9% certain it won't. Not while I'm holding shell. It got to £26, 47 then trump said the oil price was to high, so it was goodnight Vienna as oil price plummeted.

Well, I think this will go close to going below £20. Dow at all time highs. So a sell off will come sooner rather than later imo. Maybe election & OPEC may give some respite. While trump is in the White House there can be no peace for any period of time. Thx for info poker chips. It seems to me it's costing more than ever, as you say than they paid originally.. So going forward, what happens when share buy back programe is complete. Can you throw some light on this please poker chips. It seems that exceedingly more A shares are bought back , than B shares. So in effect I would expect the B shares to be more expensive to purchase as their are less n circulation .

Trying to gauge the impact of share buy backs & how the stock market regards them is 1 of life's mysteries. I suppose when the buybacks cease then you can guess better. A very difficult time to know when to top up imo. All the yank indices going up & up with no end in site. But 1 certainty in life is stock markets are at all time highs a sell off is soon to be expected. The footsie will follow USA I expect. The UK election will no doubt make some impact on UK markets, but who knows what awaits there, error no one . They say fortune favours the brave. I've been waiting for £22 for a while & hesitated & missed out, but I just can't make up my mind as to how this will go. 1 certainty is if I do get in , a sell of some proportion is a certainty.

The berenburg price target of £27 20 would suit me . But I bet it doesn't hit that price a year from today, cause that's the price I need to swap my A shares to B shares. Share price back to near pre results last week. People who bought last Thursday day , well done. But what's changed, nothing. That's the stock market. Would have 100% gone further down if I'd topped up last Thursday, definitely.

Many pundits on CNBC now talking up energy shares till year end. Let's hope so. But some of the estimates now calling £27 by year end seem somewhat optimistic. I'll settle for £25.
