£1 60p seems a bit optimistic tbh by month's end, though would hate to upset the positive police on these sites. I see recently no one refers to the no Brexit by 29 the march. Surely to god everyone now realises there is no Brexit, period + the Tories will carry out the establishments wishes + kick the can down the street yet again.. My only interest is what the fallout as on markets, unless UK markets are as corrupt as the Tories + every other polical establishment in this country, + every other top establishment , I e, police, press, media so have known all along there is no brexi & carry on. Which will occur , vod sp at £2 or Brexit. Ne vod being been £2 maybe.would be my guess + never to the latter.

I don't think anyone at Vodafone will take any notice of the vod s p. More interested in N R strategy going forward. Though the lack of director recent buys is quite telling imo. This as been in decline for so long that it's a brave soul who piles in ATM.

Hi, well I seem to recall saying on here 3 years ago brokers are thickos + being told by many they know more than you + I. They don't. Ask yourself where are all the thickos broker who called this going up £3 + over , 3 years ago. It's just 1 persons opinion. The other thing people quote is dyor . Well for all the people who have bought this share over the last 9 months did they dyor, probably yes. But where as it got them. It's a game of chance, a gamble. Your just bang lucky if you get the timing right. Personally I wouldn't recommend buying this or any other share until after the 29th of march, when the Tories will just keep kicking the can down the street. All major British companies saying it will be doomsday if theres no deal, but can't tell you how this doomsday will play out. Have they done their own research + based on what. Perhaps I'm wrong + the footsie will flourish after the 29th as the stock market realizes there's no Brexit + Carries on regardless. But of course DYOR.

I said to my brother 18 months ago when many analysts were predicting £2 50 to £3 for vod sp, there is no £2 50 anytime soon.well 18 months later who in their right mind believe £2 68 is achievable within the year. Complete crap. Maybe a takeover, then yes, but that ship sailed into the night many many moons ago + Vodafone was not aboard. So go with your gut feeling, you'll be amazed how many times your proved right. £2 68, more chance of there being a Brexit.

Brokers are thickos. Remember 2, 3 years ago, wild estimate s of £3 + over. Complete folly, which I & others stated. Wasn't it Macquarie brokers who gave a price target of £1 10 , 3 years and we all laughed. Not to many people laughing now. Problem is all the positive upgrades are all but ignored by the markets. Conversely any negative broker sentiment sends the vod sp retraces down. Oh what a surprise the government hasn't got its Brexit deal through the commons. There is + never will be a Brexit, period. All the idiots who voted to leave , have wasted their time & shoe leather& the Tory government as shown their utter contempt for their wishes. Leaving the footsie with huge uncertainty on + after the 29th of March. I don't know how + how long the uncertainty will last, no one does. But I doubt the obvious conclusion of no Brexit will have a damaging effect on the footsie + the vast majority of the shares Therin. Does the government give two boots about our shares, durrrr, no. Let them eat cake comes to mind. Wasnt Vodafone given a price target of £2 65 by a broker. My take on that is 1, no chance, 2, this broker must think that the Brexit on 29th, will have no effect. As different she'll have a upgrade to £26 40. They clearly feel that no Brexit has been factored in. I could be totally wrong but I doubt it hugely.

Hi, yes I remember around 4 years ago, people on Vodafone BB sites saying we will be eating bread & jam tomorrow, bit of course the tomorrow never comes with this share. Imo

God, the guy as only been in the hottest a few months of a massive company. He's ingrained in the company's DNA, so should give him a headstart . This time last year that vod slashed their tarrifs to compete in the Xmas market. 3 months previous to that Vodafone upgraded their projected profits for 2019. The rest you know.

Hi 25th January, market update. Perhaps that's why 2 brokers have predicted £ 1 25 target. Flip of a coin. Maybe fortune favours the brave. But if vod sp goes down, then it's a 7 month wait to get Divi if share price dosnt recover. Will vod continue to pay 10% Divi. To many it's + buts imo.

It could be worth a punt on vod sp when vod has its update in a couple of days. You may make a quick profit. My take for what it's worth would this + not just vod shares. Tommorow , Mays Brexit deal gets voted down. Footsie sells off, surely. But you never know. Come the 29th of march, no Brexit deal, there never was gonna be 1 was there. So then the brown stuff will hit the footsie, surely. But as sure as eggs is eggs, the footsie will bottom out. Could be really turbulent, but no one on this planet can give you the definitive no deal Brexit fallout. It's just the usual guff, if, maybe could, might. Some brokers calling vod £1 25, well in April, if you believe the masses, doom + gloom will ensue, so £1 25 is definitely a possibility after that imo. Clearly there is no Brexit, so someday the footsie will realise this fact + normalise to a new normal of UK still in European union. So no change then. Just uncertainty, which stock markets hate. But I could be totally wrong. Buying vod at £1 30 & lower could be great if vod are prepared to pay over 10% Divi. Warren buffet says the longer you own a share the better your position. Can't agree with that sentiment where Vodafone sp is concerned.

It seems to me that a recession is all but inevitable. Retail really struggling, Asos info yesterday. It just seems a endless stream of profit warnings. People are really struggling to get by. I know people would be lost without there phones, so that's a huge plus for vod shareholders. A recent walk to local shops even in the more affluent areas of Birmingham/Sutton saw many many shops empty. Let's hope there's a new year rally, but I doubt it. I see T May as put things back again causing more uncertainty, oh what a surprise, not. There is no Brexit, indeed we are no nearer the exit door than the day of the referendum.

So vote the deal on the table or vote to seek other deals, So leavers are spilt, say 50/50, so there vote is split. Remainers, IE 48% vote stay in.as b4 . 1 , vote deal 25%, 2, seek other deals 25%, 3 remain in EU 48%. It's so corrupt. And all the thickos who voted to leave will have been shafted.
