05 October 2007 Response to Speculation________________ Voller Energy Group PLC notes recent speculation in the media regarding orders for its 1kW fuel cell system, Emerald from the marine sector. The Company announced on 14 September 2007 a maiden order from GenQuip for twenty units to be installed in welfare cabins. Voller also announced the appointment of Unipart Leisure and Marine as the official UK distributor to the marine industry. Voller continues to develop relationships to build a distribution network across Europe through which its Emerald system will be sold and confirms that it is in discussions with a number of distributors in their target sectors of construction and leisure. Whilst it anticipates announcing further distribution agreements in due course, which it expects will lead to further orders for its Emerald product, these discussions are ongoing.

UK smallcap opening - Voller Energy up on reports of deals 5-OCT-2007 08:44 LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Modest progress was seen in Voller Energy, 3/4 up at 18-1/4, on reports that the maker of a prototype fuel cell for yachts, worker cabins and motor homes is not far from closing deals with yacht dealerships for 100 fuel cells.

No disrespect to Contacters, but we all know what goes on in this Industry!

Lynica, not sure here really, I wouldn't have thought an aquisition would effect the SP' that much. Appears that 11.55M stg. in cash will be paid, but there's new value and I'm sure there is still profit taking and the FTSE 100 down earlier is a jinx. The Market is currently shakey and there are Bears in the arena. Does appear volatile at present, but ROK is still 'empire building' I consider this beneficial, long term.

Torotrak enters licence agreement with Tata Motors 01 Oct' 2007 LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Torotrak PLC said it has signed a licensing deal with Tata Motors Ltd, providing the Indian automaker with the rights to apply Torotrak's traction drive technology. The licence, which is subject to Indian regulatory approval, gives Tata non-exclusive rights to develop and manufacture transmissions which contain Torotrak's technology in Tata branded and co-branded products and also allows Tata Motors to manufacture and sell transmissions to other customers of Torotrak in the Indian market. The company had earlier signed a memorandum of understanding over the deal in May, however, no financial details were disclosed then. Torotrak said it expects the regulatory process will take a number of months to complete and affed that it will then provide further details of the financial terms of the licence.

Rok buys Avonside Services for 16.5 mln stg in cash, shares 01 Oct' 2007 LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Maintenance services company Rok PLC said it has acquired Avonside Services Group Ltd, which provides plumbing, heating and electrical services to the construction industry, for 16.5 mln stg in cash and shares. Rok said payment comprises 11.55 mln stg in cash and 4.95 mln stg in Rok shares. Rok will also assume 1 mln stg of term debt remaining from the original buy-out of the business. Roc said Avonside had a pretax profit of 2.2 mln stg on a turnover of 42 mln stg in the year ended Dec 31, 2006. Net assets of Avonside at completion will be 3.8 mln stg.

gazza_col Having problems looking back to original holding at present. Remember MF taking a holding on the 05 Sep'. Not sure here. I wish the LSE would change the Draft for Holding Reports, they are often misread and not very informative for Joe Bloggs ( me). However I would of thought the SP will improve as KBC is now making a name for itself. A bit of a yoyo over two years, but the Graph's showing upward momentum at present. Some DYOR is always a good bet. I'm hoping it will reach new heights through this year.

Blavod Temporary Suspension 27 September 2007 Blavod* (BES) shares have been temporarily suspended as a delay in completing the disposal of the US business has caused a follow on delay in finalising the company's accounts for the year to 31st March 2007. These results will now be released in the week commencing 1st October 2007. The suspension is compulsory under AIM rules as the company will not have posted its accounts to shareholders by the required date of 30th September. Trading will resume once the accounts have been posted. There is no need to panic as this is due to extra work caused by the US disposal the rather than anything more sinister and the shares should soon be relisted - my guess is that we will be waiting a couple of weeks at most. This has been a dire tip but with the loss making US business out of the way the UK business should break into profits in the current year to 31st March 2008. K3 Business says retail software unit wins new orders; sees 2 mln stg revenue 28/09/07 LONDON (Thomson Financial) - K3 Business Technology Group PLC said its retail software division won a number of major new contracts for the installation and support of its Microsoft Dynamics NAV software in recent weeks, which are expected to generate revenues of about 2 mln stg. The company said the largest of these contracts is with Jigsaw, a high street fashion retailer, and the implementation of this order will be completed by mid-2008. K3 also won a contract with the two stationery chains owned by Theo Paphitis to supply the same software.

Velti's SP just over the Pound when I first mentioned it last March '07. It streaked to over 240p by mid July this year. From there dipped. However, a recent rise is taking place and the recent news on 20 September 2007 says H1 pretax rises on surge in revenue, confident will meet FY targets. LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Velti PLC said its first half pretax rose on higher revenues and added it is confident of meeting its full year financial targets. The mobile marketing and advertising services provider said it sees the momentum of the first half continuing in the traditionally stronger second half. For the six months ended June 30, pretax profit rose to 1.16 mln eur from 711,000 eur last year while revenue rose 83 pct to 7.4 mln eur. The company said it has received a very positive response to the launch of Ansible, a joint venture with Interpublic, adding it sees good prospects for the joint venture to become a significant driver for the growth and profitability of the company in 2008 and beyond.
