Nice rise through the day. A new kick up for the SP. Again, due to low volumes the Spread is wide, so needs to continue up for a while. Yes Giveusaclue, I noticed this too, some selling yesterday and early today, followed by buyers. Good to see a rise, it has been quiet of late. It had some coverage yesterday on t1ps.com Tom Winnifrith was talking to Jonathan Beardsworth the CE, this probably helped. I haven't as yet checked it out but will try later on.

OK dasv I agree, looks dodgy and not enough transparancy for valuation. Thinking things are unstable enough at the moment in the finance arena. Have a good weekend!

VLR is for sure laying out capital on R&D for the previously mention projects and appears to be on track. Todays news is welcome and I suspect 2008 will be quite a year for VLR. The company said it won its maiden order from GenQuip for 20 1Kw fuel cell systems, which will be delivered in early 2008 and installed in welfare cabins. It is on track for commercialisation of its fuel cell auxiliary power units (APUs) by the end of 2007. Reporting on its financial results, the company said these were in line with its expectations as full year pretax losses widened to 2.2 mln stg from 1.7 mln last time.
