Cheers crest, dunno' but hang in there. It's quietly rising without much formal news, and as in most stocks some profit taking on low margins. I think the Shin will hit the fans soon.

AIM-listed Sportingbet saw its shares close up 1.04% yesterday, a rise of 0.5p to 48.5p. In its third quarter results the company reported Group operating profits up 275% to £3.0m from £0.8m in 2006.The report said: “The Board notes the recent political developments in the US with regard to certain proposed legislative reforms and confirms that it is taking no part in any reported initiatives to overturn, challenge or amend that or related legislation.” In its trading outlook its said: “Margin in May has been below average due to less favourable results across European soccer. However, at this point, the Board remains confident of the outlook for the remainder of the current financial year and beyond.”

Share Price reached 237p at around 2pm. The obvious expected profit taking following but trust the SP will be up on the day, by Market Close.

Caspian says production steady at Zhengeldy Field for Sept quarter 15 Oct'2007 LONDON (Thomson Financial) Caspian Holdings PLC said oil production from its Zhengeldy field in Kazakhstan was consistent at 9,700 barrels for the September quarter. The oil and gas production and exploration company said oil sales during the quarter were to the domestic Kazakhstan market only and reiterated it sees exports restarting in the December quarter.

dasv, I understand where you are coming from. Indeed the growth strategy you mention is as good as any. The rich "Oil Villages" built on the sea where people pose there worldly goods, and all the crap that goes with it. An SP of 160p late last year, it could well recover that lost ground, what with increasing oil prices etc. Worth a punt on a dip. Yes, the Rich are getting richer.
