As if to confirm I just got an email from Martin Katusa who has launched a challenge to find him his next big investment. “Here’s my criteria, and it’s pretty simple: A written thesis in the email body on why the company is either a takeout candidate or a fundamentally undervalued story and a double from the current share price; Market Cap must be greater than CAD$100 million; (£57.8m) The asset must at least have a PFS; Management must own at least 5% of the company combined.” We just about meet the size and ownership criteria but II imagine we would need at least a a PFS in Moz, Portugal and Oman to qualify. It does however illustrate what the big money is looking to invest in. When we get there, and at this rate it won’t be long, the big money will be looking for a way in.

800k bought already today. The clever money is positioning for imminent Oman news with Portugal to follow. Confident that 8p will soon seem like a bargain with folks bemoaning they sold themselves short. It was the same story at 2p, 4p and 6p. It will be the same at 10p, 12p etc too. Time for some folks to wise-up and keep their money in here for the long term?

The usual pessimists more worried that they won’t see above 8p again than allow themselves to believe in 10p plus. The future does not belong to the feint of heart!

Looking back the Alara project fundementals remain as follows Base Case financial modelling on the Feasibility study for the Al Hadeetha Copper Gold Project (“the Project”) indicate robust returns as follows: ● Forecast Revenue US$ 452 million over 10.4 years. ● Forecast EBITDA over the same period US$ 159 million ● Pre-Start Capital Expenditure of US$ 49.74 million ● FCFF – Free Cash flow available in 10.4 years US$ 96 million ● Project NPV of US$ 39 million ● Forecast IRR over the same period 26% Their first challenge will be to secure ~$50m project funding, largely to build a copper concentrator I imagine?

It is a fair assumption now that SAV’s license is only days away so investors will make that assumption and position themselves accordingly today. I expect another busy trading day!

40p - 50p would ease me into retirement nicely but while I’m still earning I’m happy to wait!

There will be plenty of opportunities to sell once all the key news is in but until then it does seem to be a missed opportunity for those who cash-in early? I’m here at least until life-changing value has been created which I’m totally confident it will be. That will be many multiples of the current price and I’m more than happy to wait years if necessary until we are in full production in all three projects.

If/when Alara announce PAM approval before the recommencement of trading but while SAV is still trading, I can foresee buyers going berserk for SAV shares like never before.

I appreciate that you said you valued Oman at zero but I think the market has different view? LVIs call to ignore Oman and stop talking about it was misjudged and should be retracted.

Good point IB. Good to see that Oman wasn’t “irrelevant” after all. Perhaps LeValue Investor would care to comment?
