Ah Grim my old weasel! That’s just the point, news IS expected soon. In addition DA is working the PR/presentation circuit so there is no chance of the price ever seeing single figures again. What we are seeing is the usual selling from those who fear they will never see 14/16p again. Completely deluded and selling at the wrong time as usual but a fact of life. Future wealth moves from weak hands to strong ones.

Good read! Just had a look at the BCN board. Tumbleweed blowing through Dullsville! Would take more than this comparison with SAV to make me invest in BCN especially as funding/ dilution is imminent but I the analysis looks sound. The forecast for SAV of several multiples of the current SP backs up the comparison with other spodumene miners referred to earlier.

I think you are right about the transport costs. I seem to remember the bulk of the cost is in loading/unloading rather than sea miles?

Agreed. Great article. Interesting to compare SAV SP growth with Aus counterparts who share very similar shaped growth curves.. Pilbara Minerals, Galaxy Resources, Altura Mining and Kidman have each enjoyed share price gains of at least 18-fold, and as much as 30-fold, since June 2015 when tenements were acquired. Since SAV acquired Portugal in May 2017 we are only up just over 2-fold ( from 6p to 13.5p). So if we follow the same growth curves as the Aus miners we could be looking at up to 30x 6p I.e. £1.80 in the next couple of years and on our Li assets alone? Wow!

The SIPP carries no CGT but of course it attracts income tax on withdrawals beyond the tax-free lump sum. Balances the useful tax relief on contributions. ISA withdrawals are free of tax of course but I imagine I am teaching granny to suck eggs?

I understand the textbook logic in selling % to withdraw original stake but what then? What are you going to do with that cash? No-risk ISA at 1% interest? Invest elsewhere in AIM with similar risk and less return? My stake and 100%+ running profits are staying here to multiply. Otherwise what we will see over the next weeks and months is a transfer of ownership from private to corporate investors. Do you want them to reap the rewards we have been patiently waiting for? Do you really think your running profits are at risk? For me this is still definitely a 100% hold. I’ve been saying so at 8,10,12 and now 14p. I will be saying the same to 30p and beyond. Keep every share for yourself!

IB, I think it almost certain that the EU will fund our Li project in Portugal as it is apparently included in the EU Strategic Action Plan for Batteries. https://www.energy-reporters.com/storage/sefcovic-eyes-eu-battery-revolution/ The European Commission VP who runs the Energy Union said “EC funding would be channeled into mining in Portugal where there are Li deposits”. That is SAV surely? I await the announcement!

I imagine nervous hands concerned they had missed selling at 13p earlier. As I said at 8p, people worried they wouldn’t see 10p, 12p, 14p will sell themselves short at every stage. The time to review is above 30p, no less. We have a wall of worry to climb to get there but we need to keep looking up to succeed!

Strangely (to me anyway) the volume sold ~6.7m is greater than the amount bought. I guess the sellers just demanded a higher price before being winkled out of their shells?

Do you mind - 7.99p! Yes, I have waited for this price movement for many a day. And to think that we have all this without a single progress RNS in any jurisdiction. Just some good PR. People driving the price have bought strategically to be in the European lithium game and will be well rewarded when the scope is reported and is better than expected. Glad to see all LTH’s rewarded for their patience through periods of uncertainty!

Are Beaufort assets not frozen pending the PWC legal team releasing them back to owners about September time? Incredible that investors’ “ ring fenced” assets Weren’t protected from PWC “ear marking” them to pay their expected legal bill of up to £100 million I believe?

Buyers coming out to play now. SP ticking up again. last month it seemed we would have Oman sorted by now but they are in no rush. I note their oil revenues are up 22% with rising crude prices. I think they have about $ 6Bn in annual revenues so no need for urgency perhaps?

In contrast the Scandis like their marinated herrings nice and simple and I think would not thank you for a roll-up in malt vinegar, worse still cooked and served warm as they do in certain points of northern Britain!
