Welcome back IB and glad you raised the IHT issue which was my unspoken concern. I felt that the loss of BPR would cause some folk to move on, as IHT planning, as you well know, is an issue for not just the highest net worth individuals. What puzzles me is your comment that SAV may not as yet qualify? Have we not been listed long enough? Still trying to decipher the herring reference so maybe it’s a red one? Personally I don’t mind a bit of sild marinated in dill vinegar on crisp bread but then Chameleon woman hails from Stavanger and can’t get enough of the stuff!

I see no evidence that the Omanis believe SAV are uncommitted. It’s just that they seem to love to discuss stuff until the cows come home. Maybe they are very risk-averse, are in no hurry to make decisions, want every man and his dog to be involved and want to feel in control? On the other hand they might just want to make sure that they get this new mining strategy correct? It’s a much more regulated and secure jurisdiction than say Moz which seems to be getting worse if you read the Moz news. We will succeed in Oman. I have no doubts.

A second tweet is now telling us that it will take 7 years to fund and build a lithium mine. Somewhat longer than the most patient holder might have hoped for?

AIMTD - thanks for your warm response! It’s easy to get off on the wrong foot when we have slightly different perspectives and a lot at stake. Some of the concerns you have, I had when the share price was drifting below 2p and I was holding 50%+ losses and the situation was dire. The old motto to be greedy when others are fearful held good and I kept buying and buying to build up a solid holding at a decent average. The situation now is the opposite of dire however one might describe that so any concerns on RNS timings etc I perceive as trivial in the long run. However for a new entrant I can understand that they might be a worry. I had those worries when we couldn’t get any traction in Moz and were first buying into Oman. The story is so good today in comparison that I sometimes post to dispel any lingering doubts and encourage others to have faith. I enjoy your informative posts and appreciate the time you take to research and analyse situations. You may not have the largest holding but if we were being rewarded by word count you would be the richest man on the board!

I criticise no one - just observe. Grumpy? Couldn’t be happier - £100k up and expecting to double that by the end of June! Defensive? Never! I always hope that blue trades are buys but really have no issue with being proved wrong. Some people like to concern themselves with the ins and outs of trading but I’m afraid I can offer no expertise there. I prefer to keep it light and positive where possible which I think serves us all best?

.....SAV holding on to 85% of recent inflated value without a single word issued by DA. RNS junkies wondering when the next fix is coming are prickly and bad-tempered. Speculators selling at the wrong time as usual. Market makers behaving in the usual inscrutable fashion. Meanwhile long-term holders are sitting on 100% gains and confident of 200% in the near term. Couldn’t be more confident to be honest!

Showing blue on LSE but talk it down if you want. Doesn’t change the trend. Oman licence news will easily overhaul 10p and target 12p.

Don’t knock it, this is read as Oman progress news, not just Alara-specific. We have 250k buys and no sales already today which proves my point. Our news, when it comes, will overlay on this rising tide.

Any progress in Oman is good for SAV. Think of the negativity on here a few weeks ago regarding any prospect of mining in Oman ever? Some of our biggest investors, to my surprise, had written it off and now it’s all happening (albeit for Alara so far). New investors see the opportunity for SAV to progress too in Oman and there will be SAV buys on every announcement of progress by Alara. I suspect some of the bigger sells we are seeing are hoping to catch more, cheaper shares on any price drift and will be back again soon, maybe paying more to get back in if they are caught on the hop? As someone holding a few million I have no intention of taking the “elevator” or “lift”. I will be taking the last flight from the helipad when the game is over!

Weren’t you paddling at the weekend IB? You chose the right weekend weather-wise for Scotland! In Essex we await the next lightning bolt - whether from the heavens or from the SAV RNS machine, hopefully with no shocks. I feel the anticipation building and even the most downbeat message from BigsocmyThelix won’t dispel my positive mood. I put my “success” down to 10% insight 10% persistence, 30% patience and 50% luck. With an average of 4.1p on 3.5m shares I have no complaints!

I suspect the answer is no. These chartists only have rear-vision and as we all know the past is not necessarily a good guide to the future!
