Third of a billion?

While awaiting the next instalment from Iceberg I note a bit of a rumpus on the BCN board as the share price has taken a hit following a £100m fundraiser to tool up for production. Placement price TBD but may be a lot lower than LTHs wanted. Makes SAV’s recent placement seen relatively sedate?

Ah, she has possibly attended the same journalism college as Bridget Jones? I admit however that I ave occasionally asked myself the same question in jurisdictions where there seems no prospect of a mining license appearing! Happily this is not true of Portugal where we already have one, or at least, enough of one to get started.

Quite! Good luck picking up that lithium in the Congo! Also it’s not just about political risk - a value chain needs to be created with mining, processing, battery manufacturing, EV car industry customers etc. backed with long-term finance and preferably government support. This value chain is being created in Europe but I can’t see it ever happening in the Congo or thereabouts?

If these 250,000 sale chunks and the like are spewing from the new entrants to the share register then I would question what value they have brought to the party? They seem to have as much long term vision as an undergraduate intern on a 6- week vacation placement! Come to think about it, who are they letting loose with their day trading platforms these days?

In both these jurisdictions the main action is on governments to approve licence applications etc whereas in Portugal, it’s all up to SAV so it’s not surprising that news is focused here? The resource grows which is good news for SAV, Europe’s resource independence and the European EV industry. Hope you can see the positives?

Would figure with waiting until close of play this week. Can’t see any LTHs selling at current prices unless under duress. If PIs, more likely to be warrant holders returning 6p stake money borrowed from bank to redeem warrants?

Far from a “done deal” according to the Times? Rio will be glad to get rid of it for its poor safety and environmental record. Much better to invest in shovelling sand in Mozambique?

True perhaps of recent times but over a longer timescale, trades of £20k plus we’re not such a common occurrence. However with IIs coming onboard presumably holding many millions I imagine we can expect larger buys and sells in future.

Looking at carbonate and hydroxide too. Spain is currently the second largest manufacturer of automobiles in Europe and it is eyeing off a big piece of the evolving EV market.”
