Isn't it strange how such stellar managers have managed to decimate 2 companies whilst paying themselves 2 handsome salaries? Pure coincidence, surely?. I suspect TW will have Bell as a client for many years to come if the companies don't crash the gravy train.

No, you are right, but these are reasons to NOT invest and I presume he drew them up from his experience of exposing AIM frauds. He has been quite successful at that you would have tp agree.

Here's just a few obvious ones.

7. Leopards with form TICK
15. Chairman and CEO TICK
28. The use of too many buzz words, meaningless verbiage in releases TICK
29. A pattern of pre placing ramping TICK
30. Years of failure and placings TICK
32. Any CEO who talks about creating shareholder value when the share price has consistently tanked TICK

I remember TW did a poll on who was the worst CEO on AIM and Bell was head and shoulders the most nominated. TW took it down immediately.

A share buyback would make AB's removal easier, effectively diluting AB's control. It is in his personal interests to dilute the shareholding for more than 1 reason, not the least of which is to continue riding the gravy train.

I have just realised, the Gary Carp thing was a negotiated settlement and never actually went to court. No chance of getting his money back.

I recall Lance Armstrong suing a newspaper about saying he was a drug cheat. He got damages etc. I understand there may have been moves to get this back. Liberace sued a UK newspaper for claiming he was homosexual. Had he not died I can imagine there would be a case for reclaiming those monies and costs. Perhaps Gary should seek advice as to whether, as Booboo points out, he could claim back the damages and costs that were awarded against him given the companies subsequent performance? If the judgement was in favour of the company would it not have been stated in the relevant accounts? Along with the charity donations? Just wondering.
