Steady big buys coming in every day. I don't think there's anything untoward: as another poster said, I think there are plenty of shares available for this price from the MMs who will have bought when the price was rock bottom. If the buying continues (and I think someone or someones are building a position), it will pop when those low price shares run out. I'm excited for the next month- been waiting 3 years on this share so happy to sit back and watch the volumes tick up each day. Good things come to those who drink guinness

Here's my predictions (take with a pinch of salt because I have been ATROCIOUS at calling the markets over the last 18 months):

1) Sav will get approval for the mine

2) Portugal residents will immediately lodge formal, legal complaint

3) Share price will raise a little but uncertainty will stop a large increase in share value

4) Each step of the process over the next 18 months will see incremental rather than stratospheric increase in share price until...

5) Mine construction and production are imminent and investors pile in, reassured the process won't be derailed by legal challenges

This is the first time the grades and intercepts have started to match the enthusiasm, for me. This is chunky stuff, and seems to back up what they were saying about the development of the clays. I'm slightly confused why there isn't more of a market reaction, but personally, this makes me happy to hold and wait

I've been trying to see if these thicknesses compare well to other clay lithium miners around. I can't see clay thickness details for American lithium. Anyone know if 60ish metres is a good find, or does it underwhelm? The market has reacted negatively to what I thought was pretty good news

Apologies all. I've bought in again. Let me explain:

I wisely thought that until there was news on MRE and new drilling results, there wouldn't be any movement. I sold out at 4s. Brilliant choice, we can all agree.

Then, I saw a 5% move off the back of the director buy. 'That won't last,' I thouight. Brilliant choiuce.

Then I saw a second small move early yesterday. 'Not two days in a row,' I thought. Brilliant choice.

So this morning, I've bought back in. We all know what that means. If it's a red day, totally my fault, and I'm sorry in advance.

Looks liek someone is building a position at this price. Unknown trades seem clsoer to buy range than sell range. I do think the sell off is overdone - this is a company that is in profit, cash in the bank, and is likely to make profit again next year, albeit a smaller one than this. I feel confident that this is a good long-term hold, and I picked up some more a couple of days ago on that basis.

Sorry- I'm struggling to follow this. Which Ian has said San Domingo isn't going to work? If there was one really chunky pegmatite, doesn't it mean there may be more? Sorry if I've missed something obvious

No point throwing a small amount of money left over away. I've sold what remains of my stake and I'll buy back in if good news comes in. This is a real shame - I hope the BOD find a way to secure financing. If they do, anyone brave enough to buy now will make a fortune. I'll take less profit by buying in later, and protect the small amount I have left of my original investment now.

This is reminiscent of 4D Pharma, and I wish I'd sold what was left of my stake there too before it went into administration.

I think the biggie will be the updated resource estimates. I saw this as encouraging, but until we see the completed assays and it's pulled together into a clear resource estimate, it's difficult to pin down what this really means. I follow this company and even I couldn't work out how these results fit in with wider comparisons to other resources. I'm holding.

I thought we might see a gradual rise back towards pre-decision levels as people move their money back in. The fact there's a pre-determined pipeline for a decision makes me think that people will have taken money out for that period, and are trying to buy back in at a low price without missing the decision boat. This has been a big one day move though, so I wouldn't be surprised to see some pull back and profit-taking as we're still quite far out from news.

I've got a fair percentage of my portfolio in this stock. I like the company and the fact that Odey is behind it.

The current situation is reminding me of a stick I got burned in: 4D pharma. The big difference is that this company definitely has a working product, albeit as yet untested in humans (potentially a biggie...). Both companies had potential to turn their markets upside down with a new type of tech. Both companies burn cash.

I'm wondering whether the financial situation is worrying anyone else? Can this company stay solvent? 4D had debts called in and went bust despite some promising trials and pipelines. Is anyone else worried about this company doing the same?

Genuine holder- not trying to scaremonger

I like that he mentions the pegmatite results will follow 'very shortly'. I think it will be gamechanger. Either a huge rerate, or a sledgehammer. I'm definitely hoping for the former

I'm in two minds about the shareholder vote on article 9. On the one hand, I don't want to see serious dilution. On the other hand, my main concern is that they remain a going concern over the short term. I have no doubt if they manage that this company will be in a great and valuable position down the line.

That's why, even though I won't like its impact on my portfolio in the next 12 months, I'm leaning towards supporting the board's request for the option to raise a significant amount of capital in the markets. Even with a huge dilution, the upside for long term holders will be massive if even some of these drugs in the pipeline work out how I suspect they will work out.

Not one for short term holders, though, that's for sure.

My take on it: the RNS is further evidence that the scientific basis of this company is great. But... until the financial situation is cleared up (how they're going to finance the next 6 months with the Oxford finance loan having to be partially kept in the bank) this share price won't hold gains.

I agree with what someone said below- finances cleared up, and this share price rockets.

Just the way I'm seeing it after being in the company for around 18 months (I know some of you peeps are much longer holders).

Sav was included in The Week's round-up of share tips. I haven't seen these kind of mainstream share tippers mentioning Sav since I invested early last year. It does make me think final word on EIA approval is in the pipeline

I agree. I sold a third of my holding at 40 because I looked at the financial section of the annual report and saw the trickiness around the Oxford money. I still hold most of my shares, and just feel that something will be sorted out as the prospects of this company are excellent and the proof of concept has been almost completely proven. My feeling is this:

1) The share price will continue to fall until the financial situation is clear

2) There is a risk of the company running out of cash quite soon because of the cash burn

3) If they don't run out of cash and sort some finance out, or receive a milestone payment that gets them through, this is one of the biggest bargains on the stock market

I'm willing to stick in and lose what I still have on the basis that the risk is worth the upside. I wasn't prepared to lose what I had invested after the successful results of 0518 were released. The financial situation is what is holding this share down. Not short sellers, market manipulation etc. I think they are working hell for leather to sort the financial situation out and that's why there's radio silence. That could go either way - the risk is intense

First Post, but longtime follower of the board. I tend to agree with Boonco: a short term takeover runs the risk of losing out on the long term potential. I'd rather see strong phase two and three results from Blautux and 0518 putting doubts about the concept of live biotherapeutics to bed, and then the strong pipeline being seen for its true potential. Merck buying out straight away would undermine that.

Of course, I'd rather see a quick buyout than bad results ??
